Don't waste your time and money in cinema hall.

This movie was released on eid ul adha so my family and I went to Cinema hall to watch it and trust it was the worst movie that I watch in cinema hall. Confusing plot, no sequence between story line. The editor has jumped one scene to another leaving audience confused and dumb founded. No character build up or where this character come from or what is his purpose you will never know. Too many editing mistake I have found throughout the movie. Female lead (Bubly) expression are very funny. Dialogues has no connection with the scene.

Only Mahfuz ( lead male character) acting was good. Most of audience left the hall during half time.

A Good Movie to Watch

If you love movie with a strong storyline, Prahelika is for you. Actors and Actress all show their class through acting. All of the songs were treat to ears but the number of songs may be a problem. Mrs Chayonika Chowdhury has a good manner of telling her story which makes the plot more attractive and mystrious. Background music was good but sometimes it seems too loud. After 8 years it is a pleasure to see Mahfuz Ahmed in Screen. Bubly enthrals through her presence. There is Nothing much to say about Nasiruddin Ahmed. Finally I realy appreciate comic sense of Rashed Apu. Audience is likely to have a pleasant watch.

Terrible movie.

The movie is terrible with plot, sequence, acting - intact everything is a disaster! We office team and my wife went with high expectation but it disappointed us in every aspect. I still don't understand, how come the makers didn't try to correct the plot or story even after prescreening. Mahfuz Ahmed, why man !! After being in the industry for so long time, you delivered the worst of yours .. why in a day they fall in love .. why they cry .. there is no link at all.. only bubli was watchable .. songs are okayish but when it ll start, you ll not know.. such a waste of talents including Nasiruddin khan..

It seems like makers just made it and released even without watching.

One of a kind bangla movie.

This is a movie made for cinema lovers. This is not your typical bangladeshi dhishum dhishum film. Steer clear if you want that.

It is a must watch for audience who are always complaining about a lack of films that are out of the box.

Every actor played their role with great conviction. Especially Mahfuz Ahmed was spectacular. He stole the show in the last 20 minutes. Nasir Uddin, Bubly, Opu all played their parts well. This might be the best performance by Bubly so far in her career.

Director Chayanika Chowdhury has shown great maturity in this film and it is a huge jump from her first film.

Prohelika is an underrated gem that might go down as one of the most influential bangladeshi films of all time.

Don't watch it with high expectations.

This movie we are confused about cinematic plots. Too many songs are disturbing us. The end of the movements is only 15mins short stories, Mr, Mahfuz was doing perfect action as per the cinema plot. The cinematography & edition was on average, too much music is boring to me, personally the movie was the worst of my money & time. Maximum audiences are disappointed about too many songs and without marching stories. End the story's last 15-20mins are outstanding balance plot, this movie has so many stories that need more information, the lead actress is poor at activities this movie, and the other actors are on average acting.

This movie absolutely amazing. Thank you the director for giving us this type of movie which is different from typical Bengali movie. Actor and actress act amazingly in this movie especially Bubly & Mahfuz Ahmed. All actor and actress are superb. Their acting make the movie superb. Movie songs are also superb. If you will watch this movie you will fall in love with Arpa.this movie is different from typical Bengali movie. Female character is important in this movie story this things are different from other Bengali movie. I wish the director & Bubli, Mahfuz Ahmed give us another this type of movie.

An extremely boring movie. Listening to so many songs, I felt like I was coming to a music event. It drove us to the extremes of frustration. Finishing this movie is an extreme test of patience. And the way the chemistry is started between the hero and the heroine is very funny. The story has no plot. Nothing is clearly shown. The character of the police is extremely absurd. Trying to laugh with some forced dialogues. This is the most disgusting movie which I have ever seen. Just waste of time and money. People who loves watching boring and disgusting movies, they should watch this movie otherwise please don't waste your time.

Bubbly and Mahfuz sir they are just create another things . This bangali nation are surprised to see their chemistry yr such a nice story line such a beautiful acting skilll .

Pure Rubbish

This movie is just a piece of trash. A total waste of time for anyone attempting to watch it.

Except for a handful of dialogues and some scenes of natural beauty, this film has nothing to offer. No coherent storyline, no character build-up, not a single trace of good cinematic language. What you hear is often non-corresponding to what you see.

The director failed to utilise the acting talents of Mahfuz and Nasir Uddin other than in a very limited number of moments. Bubly's acting is a total failure.

I would have selected a half-star rating if there was an option to do so.

If you are reading this, please don't waste your time by watching this movie. If you decide to watch it anyway, I urge you to leave your honest review once you have watched it.

Need to see more than one time to feel it.

There are some movie when we watch goes over our head, but re watching it gives us the details of it. Prohelika is a good attempt of psycho genre but with a bit of refurnishing it could be a strong masterpiece. I am giving it 9 out of 10 for trying to give our audience new way of movie making. Hats of to Bubli mam, who didn't do any overacting, Mahfuz sir is a legend if director can use him properly , in that case we didn't see him in full potential, the character of Nasir Uddin Khan as Jamshed was portrayed ok but I found the singing part very unnecessary, overall a good film , good approach. But we could have got more from the story build up. The background music was nice, but sometime boring, the music were ok, I found the lighting and graphics work a bit dark in cinema hall.

The one of the main plot was, heart attack was reported in Autopsy report?? Strangulated death is reported heart attack. How funny.

Some dialogue are below average in acting.

Positive sides: The main song is wonderful. Background music also so good. Acting of bubly was good most part of the movie.

Cinematography is average to me.

Negative sides: 1. Plot: I am not satisfied with the plot at all. Though confused plot sometimes creates more interest, but in this movie it can't make interest.

2. Police officer acting can't satisfied in sum.

3. Overall it is not an attractive story line.

A Surprising Outcome of Orpa & Mona

O my god! It would be a record of Bangladesh Film that a female director Chayanika Chowdhury made this wonderful film for Bangladeshi film lovers.

Bubly acted in this film amazingly,it is one of the best movies in Bubly's film career. She deserves National Awards from this movie.

Mahfuz Ahmed a legendary actor acted here superb. Prohelika is a movie with good combination of Casting and Story Telling.

All the songs of this movie is amazing. New generation audience specially educated and upper level people highly appreciated this movie.

I request Chayanika Chowdhury as soon as possible prohelika should be released on OTT platform. So that foreign expats can watch this movie.

This is a movie I can highly recommend and this is family movie too.
