Big Jim organizes a posse to hunt down Barbie in the woods. Dodee discloses to Big Jim the existence of the egg and the mini-dome and she overhears a military broadcast telling that Big Jim is not reliable since he killed the Reverend. Coggins. Big Jim executes Dodee; burns the station to the ground; and then he accuses Barbie. The lesbian Carolyn discovers the mini-dome in the barn but she promises to help the teenagers to protect it. Big Jim comes to the barn with henchmen, but the kids have moves it to Ben's house. Big Jim arrests Joe and Norrie, but later he is forced to release them. Linda follows the couple and discovers the location of the mini-dome. Meanwhile Barbie and Angie remove Julia from the hospital, but he is arrested by Linda. Then Big Jim blackmails Barbie to confess the arson of the station and the murders.

"Exigent Circumstances" is probably the best episode after the "Pilot". The plot is too short even for a mini-series but it seams that there will be another boring season. Linda is an incredibly stupid and irritating character. My vote is seven.

Warning: Spoilers
Why are the townsfolk so eager to turn on barbie? The same guy who helped put out the fire when Duke's house was engulfed in flames. The same guy who helped deliver a baby and helped during the riot. Linda and half the town saw the goodness in barbie so why did they turn on him so quick? Makes no sense from a writing standpoint. And why is barbie asking angie to help him save julia by helping him gain access to the hospital when angie could help end Jim's charade by simply going to radio station and telling the whole town everything she knows? And while I'm on the subject of the radio station, Dodee was a total moron. Even after jim admitted to killing all those people she still didn't try to run away and instead wanted to be, "useful"? And Junior saying that his dad wouldnt lie to him is ridiculous especially after finding out jim lied to him about his mother in an earlier episode. Also the way he figures out angie is distracting him is because she smells like cigarettes?! She's a smoker so how does he see through her trick based on her smell? And at the end when Julia wakes up, why didn't angie give her the radio so she could tell Sherlock Linda the truth? Barbie gave angie the radio when she took off in the ambulance. Weird writing.

Warning: Spoilers
To me it seems like Barbie is just trying to get saved or hoping for a miracle. There is so many ways he could've gone about to not have the town against him yet it's like he knows something or someone is gonna scoop him up and save the day for him. Can't wait til The special 4 kill Big Jim, I am tired of him to a ridiculous point. And why on earth is Linda so damn slow?? Like everyone still wants to play cops and robbers and no one is looking for a solution into getting out of the dome except the special 4! It's ridiculous that they make her look this stupid on the show especially that she has proof of Big Jim's illegal activities and still chooses to believe everything he says!

This stupid jim

That stupid Jim should die already. He was a bad actor since breaking bad , his acting is godly awful. I have always like Linda in some other show but somehow in this series they made her dumb as hell. Why does the USA like to employ some fat ass like Jim as an actor? Thinking is more menacing? He looks like an egg throughout the show with his bald head with the same acting emotion.

Watching paint dry

Warning: Spoilers
I thought or I hoped it would be more exciting and realistic than it has been. It holds interest for a few minutes, but then the paint drys. I have missed a couple episodes, not intentionally, but the next coat just goes on. And maybe I just missed it, but has anyone tried to dig under the dome or even drill thru it?? Isn't that the real world?? Tonight, it appeared that , at least, people are starting to get suspicious. The female sheriff isn't curious enough or gutsy enough to suspect anyone or investigate anyone, or to even try to form a group to figure out a way to get out of the dome. And why isn't the outside world being included in this "drama"? Surely they know people or have reasons to try to break into the dome. It would make a good "Fantasy Island" series, but NCIS is much more interesting and realistic.
