Alyssia spent most of her childhood in Hawaii, which helped shape her Asian comfort food style. Alyssia and her husband have adopted a baby girl and would love to use the money to adopt more children in need. Alyssia opts for her Walnut Brownie, hoping Chef Ronnie has very little dessert experience. Alyssia's brownie is "family tradition on a plate" and features browned butter and a mint garnish, while Chef Ronnie is winging his brownie on the skillet.
