Jury duty
tenshi_ippikiookami22 January 2017
Rosalee is in jury duty, and there seems to be some wesen's tampering in the case. Captain Renard and Nick become better friends. And Juliette and Monroe talk.

After so much plot development and action and overall story-line, it is great to see a one-episode contained story that relies on humor and the characters to push the story along. Instead of action and violence, the trial, and the weekly wesen, do for a more original approach, where the team needs to do research, think about the kind of wesen they are against and prepare a very specific plan to counteract its powers. It gives time for Nick, Monroe and Hank to shine, and its fast paced and quite funny. There is a limit to a story where the characters just run around and shoot their guns, even if you put super-beings in the story.

And in case the viewer wants something more, we get Juliette's overall act, which is becoming more and more interesting, as well as some stuff happening in Europe.

Could have been a 10.

Warning: Spoilers
One of the more lighter-hearted episodes for Grimm. The lawyer (Brian Finney) does a really good Kelsey Grammer impersonation. I would have rated it a 10 if Grammer would have played the role.

I loved this episode so much.

Simply put.

It had this 'Leverage' vibe. All the characters coming together to pull this con on the bad guy that's corrupting others.

In addition, both shows are filmed in Portland. And many guest actors appear in both shows. Leverage is a top favorite show on a list of mine and Grimm is starting to edge on that list.
