For Manish Paul, featuring in the sequel of Tere Bin Laden was a huge responsibility. The TV host and actor said he simply gave his best shot to the film. “It was definitely a burden for me. The first part was a sleeper hit. I had to keep in mind several things. But I still did not pay much attention to the burden part because I have a feeling that this film is surely going to repeat history. The script of the film is strong and we had a great time shooting it,” said Manish.
The film stars actors Sikandar Kher and Pradhuman Singh alongside Manish Paul and he adds, “We were like brothers on the set. We never treated each other like co-stars. Working with Abhishek is irritating initially because he does a lot of workshops, which really bug everyone. But we later realised that it helped. He used...

Mickey Virus, a quirky take on cyber-crime which was the launching vehicle of comedian and host Manish Paul, turned out to be an average hit on the box office. Now the director Saurabh Varma, who too debuted with Mickey Virus, has signed two more films with the upcoming production house Krian Media. His next film titled Meet The Patels will once again be a comedy. Though the cast is yet to be finalized, the film is said to be a story about two roommates Tom Patel and Jerry Patel who are ready to go to any extent to save their love except grow up. On the other hand, the second film that Saurabh Varma has signed is a suspense thriller with elements of action titled Faster. Though the two films signed by Saurabh Varma differ in their genre, we hear that they will target the urban youth as well as family audiences.

While his film Mickey Virus was a surprise hit at the box office, director Saurabh Verma is apparently yet to receive the complete amount for the venture. The director, who had joined hands with Dar Motion Pictures for the film, has now registered a complaint against Dar Motion Pictures with the Indian Films and Television Directors Association (Iftda) for non-payment of dues and also for stopping him from working on other projects. Ashok Pandit, who is the President of Iftda, claimed that Saurabh has been wronged by the production house and they have sent a notice to them which will appear at the dispute committee soon. Extending his support for Saurabh, the filmmaker also stood by the fact that the director should be given the right to make films with other banners if Dar is not ready to make films with him. New Delhi, Oct 28: As many as six films released last Friday, but none of them could excite the viewers at the box office.
"Mickey Virus", which marked the debut of actors Manish Paul and Elli Avram in Bollywood, was the most talked about movie among those that released Oct 25. But the buzz wasn't sufficient to make the audiences catch the film.
"'Mickey Virus' collected Rs.4.75 crore (early estimates) net in its opening weekend," posted trade analyst Taran Adarsh on Twitter.
Directed by Saurabh Varma, the comedy-thriller has been made on a budget of Rs.11 crore, inclusive of publicity and advertising.
Other movies that hit the theatres Friday were Shekhar Ghosh's "Sooper Se Ooper" starring Vir Das, Gulshan.

Film: "Mickey Virus"; Cast: Manish Paul, Eli Avram, Varun Badola, Manish Choudhary; Director: Saurabh Varma; Rating: ***1/2
"Mickey Virus" is Bollywood's first full-fledged film on the virtual world. The hero -if we may call Manish Paul's languid lazy vagabondish character that - is a computer hacker, and one who likes to take his time over every punch of the keyboard.
Mercifully, debutant director Saurabh Varma's film moves in a mood defiantly opposite to the hero's indolent indiscretions. Tightly-scripted, cleverly-worded and arrestingly encrypted, "Mickey Virus" drags the hackers' hemisphere into the hectic mode.
I am tempted to use computer jargon to describe the ultra-svelte moves that define the virtual progression.
