Almost flawless
joshmachine-390801 July 2023
We were confused whether to pick this one for a family entertainer this Eid. I still don't know what pushed me to go to this movie, but in short it was worth my 2.5 hours.

From comic horror movie to a laughter filled Marina Khan directorial debut to Khalil sb's well written dialogues in the last one of the 3, this movie kept us thoroughly engaged.

I highly recommend it to those who want to enjoy their time and also want to touch upon the sensitivity of marital relations.

Apart from a few scenes of intimacy in the last one, the movie can be conveniently watched with young kids. In fact my kids laughed their heart out and this made my day.

3 wacky tales, 2 hours of fun
donmurray291 July 2023
Not seen a Indian/ Pakistan film with three different tales, an anthology, so this was a treat. And it's good. The first tale is a family who are down and out, living where ever, with some dark comedy it has some supernatural themes in it, and is the longest of the three, lasting an hour. The ending is gold, and this tale feels like a British comedy of old.

The second is comedy of errors like and the most like the Ealing comedies from the 50's, much like the first one. It's all about a wedding, but has all sorts of things going on This one starts with a great dance number and has the most songs in it, and is the most colourful tale on show here.

The third and last is very much 'Brief Encounter', but obviously with some changes, because of the setting and with some very smart writing and direction.

All three stories are good, nothing is wasted at all, but it's not an 8/10 film, as it does fall short here and there, so I gave it 7/10.

"Aik So Teeswaan" - old-school storytelling elegance
waghpallavi11 July 2023
The film begins with a funny and snappy horrorcomedy called "Jinmahal." Hira, Mani, and Gul-e- Rana all provide excellent performances in the direction of Nabeel Qureshi. It's entertaining to watch.

"Pasoori" is the second film. Unfortunately, actors of caliber such as Sheheryar Munnawar, Ramsha Khan, and Babar Ali are all wasted in this mediocre rom-com.

"Aik So Teeswaan" is the third, and the one I'm here to talk about. A story of two strangers who meet on a train ride. Sadaf's narrative is about a girl who is still looking on the bright side of her not-so-perfect married life, and Asad's story is about a painter and poet who has concerns about his marriage and is smitten by her. As they both discuss their experiences and ideas on their positions, as well as how other passengers are chasing their chemistry, the tale continues. It becomes more lyrical and intriguing as it nears its conclusion, as they each influence one other's beliefs and behaviors.

Wahaj Ali brings Asad the much-needed charm and tenderness in addition to Meahwish's stunning and strong Sadaf. You are captivated by the plot after seeing both performances. A beautifully written story by Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar, and a flawlessly executed script by Nadeem Baig.

Paisa Vasool movie, 3 good stories so u wnt get bored
aaiza_arq1 July 2023
So i went to watch a pakistani film in cinema after 7 years and i only went for Wahaj Ali.

Jin mahal - was very interesting and funny, Mr and Mrs mani were amazing, the ending made me jump out my seat.

Pasoori - i found this story a bit boring, Ramsha i felt was a bit OTT, sheheryar was ok, i think babar Ali was the best character in this story.

Ek Sau Taeeswan - wahaj ali was amazing as always, mehvish i did not like at all. Like ramsha she was also very OTT, The way her character was flirting i didnt like that. Praising herself non stop. I felt wahaj had less dialogues and less screen time. Hopefully he will have more in his next movie .

Sadafs husbands part and his kuttiya Girlfriends part was unnecessary.

I liked jin mahal the most , then Ek Sau Taeeswan and lastly pasoori

It was paisa vasool movie. Overall i enjoyed it. I rate all movies i watch n i rated this 7/10.

Must watch.... Spectacular cinematic experience....
anilthontia1 July 2023
Brilliant acting, engaging stories, nice songs.... U must watch this amazing film.... appreciate efforts by the makers..... Hats off.

Sajin Mahal the first film by Nabeel Qureshi has set the pace for the entire anthology and beautifully acted by the entire cast, not a dull moment.

Pasoori, again nice film, good songs and catchy moments....

123waan, man, words can be so beautiful if spoken brilliantly by Wahaj n Mehwish... Written by maestro Khalil Ur Rehman Qamar sb... Was a treat and rightly placed as the last of the lot...

See Prime.thank you for the film.... Go with the family and friends. You will not be disappointed.

Pakistani Cinema is confused
deltaop2 July 2023
Apart from a few truly stellar cinematic films (Maula Jutt, Moor, Manto, Waar, Namaloom Afraad, Laal Kabootar), Pakistani Cinema is confused. Most films are like directors trying to copy-paste a TV drama onto the big screen.

The same is the case with this anthology. They are a good collection of short films, but definitely not for the big screen. The second film was essentially an extended ad for Cadbury Dairy Milk, it was so bad. This should have been a digital release. Save for some excellent cinematic scenes at the end of the third short film, nothing was truly cinema eye-candy.

Pakistani directors should realize that making movies for the cinema is different than making them for the TV/Computer screen. There is a thing called cinematic experience.

Also, Khalilur Rehman should stick to writing cringey, misogynistic dramas.

Definitely not one to be watched in cinemas, see it digitally or on TV.

I found myself losing interest as the film
sarajahankhan1 July 2023
The movie had an intriguing plot, but the weak acting performances left a lot to be desired. While some of the actors managed to deliver decent performances, the majority of them failed to convey the necessary emotions and depth required for their roles. This made it difficult to become fully invested in the story, and I found myself losing interest as the film progressed. Despite its flaws, the movie did have some redeeming qualities, such as its cinematography and score. However, these were not enough to make up for the poor acting. Overall, I would not recommend this film to others, as there are better movies out there with stronger performances.

Overall an entertaining watch
ferdousnazma30 June 2023
Zin Mahal had the most interesting premise and plot with some comic moments. It takes on social issues like homelessness, superstition with a touch of humor. All the primary actors delivered good performances. Pasoori was a fun ride, provided much needed light hearted buffer between two intense films and made the viewing experience better. Performance wise again, all the actors delivered specially Ramsha. Ek Sau Taeeswan was intense drama about underbelly of marital relatioinships exploring (in)fidelity with many wordplays in place. Mehwish Hayat's character Sadaf was the driving force, got most of the punchline dialogues and she carried the film well on her shoulders. Wahaj Ali's character Asad was more of a foil and on a listening/realization trip. He had slightly less room for performance and did well with what he had.

The format of three short films was like a buffet in a restaurant and provided interspersing combination of different tastes that I thought worked well for the viewing experience.

Boring
sharram4 July 2023
What is the point if depending on reviews before you watch a show? Ratings are no longer about the actual show or acting but based on fangirling. This show was not worth my time. It is not worth the hype. The story revolves around 3 stories of different natures. The story or nothing in this show is cinema worthy. It is long amd drawn out with scenes from Bollywood DDLJ. The acting of some of the leads are worth mentioning but it is not enough to worth 2 hours of my time. Hype is based on fan girls of the actor not on the actual show. Disappointing crap! People need to review shows on good plot and not fangirls. So many shows i ended up looking at which had good ratings but was only because of sick fangirls.

Warning: Spoilers
A love story on a train with dialogues by Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar, direction by Nadeem Baig and good-looking actors like Waha jAli, Mehwish Hayat, Zahid Ahmed and Amna llyas sharing screen. The trailer of this short from 'Teri Meri Kahaniyaan' offers all the ingredients that make for a timeless emotional roller -coaster.

"Teri Meri Kahaniyan" is a captivating film that beautifully weaves together multiple love stories, showcasing the complexities and nuances of relationships.

The performances by the cast are commendable, with each actor bringing depth and authenticity to their respective roles.

The film's cinematography is visually stunning, capturing the essence of various settings and adding to the overall appeal of the narrative.

The music in "Teri Meri Kahaniyan" is melodious and soulful, enhancing the emotional impact of the story and complementing the on-screen moments.

While the film successfully explores different timelines and perspectives, some viewers might find the pacing a bit uneven at times.

Overall, "Teri Meri Kahaniyan" offers a heartfelt cinematic experience that celebrates love in all its forms, making it a worthwhile watch for fans of romantic dramas.

Average remark
inayatmaria1 July 2023
Just go to watch asad , phenomenal acting by him , but there is no connection b/w three stories 😕 could not engage myself attentive during the first two. Ramaha and sheryaar romcom was good , hora and Mani story was below average for me., New face like wahaj Ramsha should be in movies , we are fed up with old faces like Mehwish although she is a good actress. It was a good effort by see prime to show a three telefims collectively on a big screen and world-wide, Khalil ur Rehman story have a good message that we usually see every 2nd girl is blaming about husband extra material affairs , 👍🙌🤗🌎 #terimerikahniyaan.

unfortunately didn't meet my expectations.
amnamultan1 July 2023
I recently watched thie movie that didn't quite hit the mark for me. While the premise was intriguing, the pacing was slow and the plot felt underdeveloped. The characters were interesting but ultimately felt one-dimensional, with little to no growth throughout the film. The acting was decent, but the dialogue felt stilted and forced at times. Visually, the movie was stunning, with beautiful cinematography and a well-crafted world. However, the story just didn't quite come together for me, and I left the theater feeling dissatisfied. Overall, while I appreciated some aspects of the movie, I wouldn't recommend it."

A Beautiful Treat
zaheerayesha2 July 2023
If you are expecting big movie experience like larger than life sort of than it is not for you. But if you are looking to have little fun and beautiful experience than this movie is for you.

First movie Jin Mahal was good. It contains a strong message. All actors did a good job especially shout out to that little kid. He was so good in acting. Also thay black kitty was cute. Anyway good direction.

About second movie Pasoori. It was fun to watch it but somewhere it's story was not for film .

Ramsha did not impress me at some points she was only good in song. Sheryar was good and Babar Ali was best. Direction was beautiful.

Third movie was so deep. Harsh reality of our society. Nehvish did it so beautiful. Wahaj was also good. Way too deep with most beautiful song.

It was all about EST (the third one)
fahadshaikh-676501 July 2023
A fresh concept.. 3 in 1.

Starting with the first one which was horror comedy. It was fun to watch and keep you engaged. Hira and Mani were perfect in their roles and performed very well so 7/10 for JIN MAHAL.

Secondly it was PASOORI which I didn't like much as it gets too preachy highlighting man and woman.. the society etc. It's not enjoyable at all however the song pankh gives its story a boost.

Lastly EST by nadeem baig.. It is the best and I could watch it again and again but I wouldn't want to waste my time on the first two. It was all about the dialogues and direction and ofcourse the fiery chemistry between Wahaj Ali and Mehwish Hayat.

I am totally in love with this short film. It was simple yet beautiful. It goes deep in to your soul and in the end leaves you amazed that it takes some time to process everything happened..

In the end I would recommend to go watch the movie just for the sake of EST. It is beautiful.

A Great Team's Effort Along With Good Messaging.
mish-262261 July 2023
I just want to say that all actors did splendid jobs in their respective roles and all different three had a good storyline along with good messaging. To be very honest, I went to see Wahaj Ali and Ramsha Khan first debut performance and as always the man did justice to his role as "Asad" and his charming looks. My only wish would be that Wahaj role could have more dialogues and for Ramsha character "Rumaisa" dance performance was fab and her performance was very impressive but the storyline "Parsooi" would be more engaging and it was lacking it. Otherwise, love the movie and would recommend others to watch the movie with their family as well. It's a good entertaining movie.

Asad was the reason to go and watch the movie
mariainayat2 July 2023
Just enjoyed 3rd part of the movie, but the producers has given more dialogues and importance to Mehwish as compared to wahaj , that is quite unfair , it was his first debut film but I loved it his eyes expression his phenomenal expression loved it! Hira and Mani movie was not a horror for me! Some dialogues by khail ur Rehman didn't liked by me , but it is a good try by Pakistani cinema to promote our industry, from all Pakistani films being onaired now a days in cinema it is better from all that u can go and watch it but I saw people are more interested in watching new Indianan movie today in cinema, houses are full there.

Wahaj as Asad
uroojrathore1 July 2023
I waited for this film for Wahaj, He is an out class actor, my favourite, I missed my family eid party just for this film, went to see wahaj only!

He is saving grace of the film, most fans are going because of him.

I loved his performance. He was soft and decent wish he had more screen time! He gave his best. Asad was my favourite! His dialogue delivery was perfect!

I liked Hira and mani acting too. Rang Mahel was best story among three but asad wahaj was treat. What a proud moment to see him on big screen!

Wish he get better film later where he can show his talent more nicely! Best of luck for team specially mera bacha Wahaj Ali! Love from uk.
