Árni is a slow burning, meditative film with beautiful and suggestive music. The viewer is ought to fill the intentional gaps of the story of the main character, Árni, who is a lonely boy working for a traveling circus. We don't know where did he come from, why. He reflects to the world around him with glances, and silent actions. He wants to be loved and appreciated in his own way, and when he is rejected, he finds some type of connection with a piton. The end is tragical, but there is the needed catharsis. Even after several days, I'm deeply affected, and intrigued by the subtility of the film. Turi Péter's gaze speaks volumes, however, this is his first film. Congratulations for the whole creative team, especially Vermes Dorka director, who had dreamed about Árni, and realized, as her first feature film.

I watched this movie and it's definitely one of the most slow and boring movies I've ever seen in my life. I hate to give anything such a bad negative review but this movie is just so boring the hole story is pointless.
I thought before watching it that it might be decent but I was wrong it was pathetic it was a real struggle to get through it from the movie having not much speaking parts.
I don't mind a slow burn style movie but this was just way to slow and no real point to it even at the end he has tamed the snake and the end scene is him performing with it and just ends
If U want to waste your time and feel disappointed with a boring a slow story that has no point at all then watch this movie
How this movie is nominated for a award I have no idea I really struggled to sit through this movie and I really wanted to enjoy it but nope I can't recommend it to anyone not one single part of the movie was entertaining at all even if U paid me to re watch it I would have to decline hahaha
