This series is tied with "L&O: Criminal Intent" as my favorite crime drama of all time but some questions linger. Moriarty insists that Holmes not only find Wallace Rourke's killer but find the person who really killed Leah Sutter, the sister of the man who killed Rourke. Holmes succeeds on the first question but not on the second. We still don't know who killed Leah, we only know that it was not Rourke. Daren Sutter killed Rourke after being misled by his wife (Katie) to believe Rourke killed Leah. She did so to help Sutter pull out of a long depression. The other truth is that Daren didn't walk in on Leah being murdered, it was Katie, who was having an affair with Daren twenty years earlier when she was married to her first husband. It is very strange to not actually have a murder solved. Since Leah's murder wasn't solved, the man posing as Moriarty should not have let Holmes off the hook.
