Excellent Season Finale
Firefighterwmh15 May 2013
I WOnt give away any spoilers to ruin this amazing episode for other Arrow fans before all can watch it. It was incredible with a mix of action drama, and story A+++. I am looking forward to the Next season to pick up where the Finale has ended and to see what new stories the series has in store and hope other heroes will appear to show how connected the DC universe really is. I have enjoy the series from the beginning and love how dark and gritty the show truly is. I would hope to see more DC show if they could follow the concept of how Arrow is done it so far to make it feel more realistic and amazing to watch. I hope other will enjoy the season finale as much as I have.

THE DARK KNIGHT of Arrow!
kamran_301216 May 2013
It would be No Doubt that ARROW would be a part of Justice League Movie. This Season Finale is EPIC!!! Perfect. This is the first time in Arrow , that they grip you till the last second. Amazing Episode. Stephen Amell is first rate. I won't be surprised when he turns into a Hollywood A Lister in the near future. The Story is gripping. It's High on Action and emotions and is filled with enough twists and turns. The flash Back was Awesome but saving Starling was awesome. It shows the Human Side of Oliver. Colin Donell was extremely good esp his scenes with Amell. The supporting Cast was really good. Overall a Straight 10/10. The episode was "THE DARK KNIGHT" of the show. Worth Waiting for Season 2

Epic season finale.
flamin_ice8929 May 2013
I made an account on IMDb just to review this episode. I haven't seen such a good season finale in a long time. The action and emotions pour out in each scene (except for a particularly cheesy scene involving Felicity). The episode starts off on a high note and ends leaving you at the edge of your seat. It delivers all the ingredients at perfection leaving you profoundly satisfied for having stuck with the show even after you were served raw the appetizers i.e the first few episodes. ------- ------- ------A--- R- --R ---O ---W--------- ----- ---- -->>>> I don't want to write a longer review but unfortunately i have to fill up the space. So please just ignore this part. :D

One of the best season finale- 10 out of 10

Warning: Spoilers
This show proved that its has to be one of the best shows on television currently. the epic season finale was named sacrifice. It was full of action, emotions, the second device twist was epic. Really looking forward to season 2 now. After half the destruction of glades, there was also death of a lead character Tommy Merlin, and not to mention we don't know what happened to Roy parker and Thea. guess we will find it. but surely this was a bang on finale.

Surely many will disagree with me, but just don't care, cause this show is worth viewing.

So the overall review for the show by me is 9

Perfection does exist...

Warning: Spoilers
I waited an entire week for this episode and when I finally watched it I realized that I was not mentally ready for this. As we already knew from past episodes there was going to be action in this one and everything was going down. The first major thing that happens is when Oliver gets out of the "prison" were Malcolm Merlin had him and that is were the action started, very early on the show. From that point I was completely in for the episode, now I would like to talk just about the island for a while. Oliver saves the plane and it crashes on the camp, when you think it is over Fires has Shadow with a gun to her head and this might be one of the best scenes of the show. Oliver get a bow and arrow and shoots Fires on the chest (first arrow he has shot). On present days you get to listen to Tommy's mom last words to his father and from that point on it is an emotional roller coaster. Malcolm tells Tommy all of his planes and then Tommy points a gun to his chest forcing Malcolm to knock Tommy out. By now Moira Queen is arrested because she declared all of the Undertaking plans to the news. Felicity and Quentin (Laurel's father)are working together to deactivate the machine that will level the Glades meanwhile Diggle and Oliver are in a hunt for Malcolm Merlin. When they find Merlin Diggle gets a blow to the chest and it is lying on Black Arrow's fortress and Oliver runs out to hunt him. When he does they get into one of the best fights we have seen in the show, Malcolm had Oliver on a Sleeper Hold and was about to break his neck when Oliver got an arrow and gets it though his own chest and into Merlin's hart, killing him. As all of this is going on Felicity is guiding Quentin through the process of deactivating the machine, when they fail at their first try Quentin calls Laurel to say good bye for one final time. But then they succeed at deactivating the FIRST machine, that's right, there are two machines. The second machine goes off and it blows the entire west side of the Glade, with Laurel in a building Tommy goes to the rescue. He reaches Laurel in time and makes her get out of the building. But unfortunately Tommy could not get out and when The Hood gets there Tommy has a stick through his chest and agonizing. Tommy died. The episode finishes off with a view of Starling City getting destroyed and with everyone on the edge of their seat.

Amazing
fletchervanburen1 May 2022
I'm not really going to go in depth here about why this episode was so good but it had

1. Amazing acting 2. Interesting story (I enjoyed Moira's part the most) 3. Unpredictable plot

This was an amazing episode. I feel like this season should have given dark archer more backstory because he could have been more AMAZING than he already was. That small thing can't change my rating though. This is my favorite episode so far.

"Sacrifice"
SpideyVerse2319 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This finale had all the best parts of the season and a lot more.

It begins with Oliver remembering his father's sacrifice for him, which is the theme of this entire episode btw. Oliver is ready to lay down his life to defeat Merlyn, Dig is ready to be at Oliver's side till the end, Quinten is risking his job and his life to help stop the attack, Moira gives a confession, and Tommy does the biggest sacrifice of all to save Laurel. The flashbacks also wrap up this season's storyline neatly, with Oliver making his first kill with a bow and arrow to save his friend's life.

Overall, a very emotional finale and a really emotional death of a main character.

Stay away from the nuclear bomb
kingsx_6429 July 2020
I really liked the season finale. It had some great twists/moments. The acting was spot on, which has been a big plus, as so many shows suffer from at least one who brings down the rest of the cast. What I didn't like was the the whole mess that Laurel needed to be in her office to get files, after being warned. That was ridiculous. Honey, there's basically a nuclear bomb that's gonna go off under your building. Ok dad, but i need my folders. What? Huh? I was moved by so many little speeches that Laurel gave throughout the season. Always being the voice of reason and kindness. So that dumb idiotic, childish derision seemed a stretch for the writers to throw in there. Just stupid. It didn't fit who she was. To jeopardize herself and coworkers has no justifiable reason. And that one decision impacts the entire show. Not just her character. If they didn't pull that childish stunt, I would have easily given it a 10
