A cast of has-beens, nobodies and never-will-be's stumble through a script that starts, ends and goes nowhere.
Just when you think that nothing interesting will happen, it doesn't.
The cinematography, lighting and score is workmanlike, I'll concede. The crew surpasses the cast by a fair margin.
I'm really not sure who this is aimed at, or why the production team thinks they can monetise it. Far better is available on YouTube, free and gratis.
IMDb requires me to write more lines than this... thing... deserves. Sad times.

'The Usual' is a film worth many more words than the film has on screen. And it is quite timely in today's world were equality and inequality have blurred lines and sharing and caring is something that is often forgotten. The performances, the cinematography and the story are superb allowing the film to breathe and slowly envelope the viewer into a world of passion and compassion. The directorial guidance is felt in the minute details visible on screen, but at the same time the film has its freedom to touch each individual viewer. Maitre' D is my favorite character because he represents the full storyline in his subdued performance - he is the backbone of the times, flexible at times and inflexible in others. Look out for me from this team!
