A mixture of fantasy and seriousness.

The car pilot Matthieu Nerval has been found dead on the track of the Le Mans circuit: the police captain Sabrina is in charge of the murder investigation and she must work with a policeman sent from Los Angeles and then begings the touch of fantasy; Sabrina diiscovers that that Ryan is a former car pilot, that he had an terrible accident at Mans nd that he is looking for his daughter in this town. On the the other side Sabrina has som troubles with her adolescent daughter Lola. Besides Ryan likes very much the adrenaline-using the abandoned car of Mathieu Nerval por follow a strange biker-.

Back to the criminal investigation: Tristan Poncelet and other pilots tell them that Matthieu Nerval was the protege of Antoine Palestro and was often bad tempered. Suddenly Sabrina and Ryan went to a forest and iscovers the abandoned car of Matthiu Nerval: a biker arrives near the place and goes away, they try to follow him,but the man escapes. Later the manages to arrest the mysterious biker-the mechanic Jérémy Tellier who had an intimate relationship with Matthieu, but didn't kill him.they meet Dino Lavezzi had aquarrel with Antoine Palestro : Dino resigned to work with Antoine. THey speak with Camille and Thomas Palestro, and also with Léa Lavoine-the former fiancee of Thomas. A little later Dino Lavezi appears dead in his workshop and Sabrina and Ryan have a new clue, a youmng couple on a motorbicycle was deadly hit by car.

I enjoyed the performances of Eléonore Bernheim, Json Priestly , Roby Schinasi, Adèle Galloy, Jacques Jouanich, Guillaume Faure, Mathieu Delarive, Olivia Courbis, Rudy Basset, Louvia Bachelier, Paul Angeli, Yann Pradal and Sébastien Lazennec.

I like Eléonore Bernheim in The Art of Crime, a part she plays well. The jury is out on her playing a gritty cop in the two "Murder In..." that she has done.

However, no one's acting could save this contrived, clichéd catastrophe, "Murder In Le Mans". The story is stupid, with an LAPD cop, former Le Mans racer and apparent father (Jason Priestly) aiding in the investigation.

Jason Priestly, an actor from the English/French bilingual Canada, couldn't read a stop sign in French. It was so painful to hear him speak I turned off the sound then just read the subtitles.

His new-found daughter from a race-time relationship thirty years earlier? Don't know, don't care, I gave up.
