if masked balls are your thing ..

Masquerade? Well, the whole series has always been a masquerade.

Like I predicted, another actor portraying a baddie's tenure ran out, and ol' Burn Gorham (as Trask) is off the set and off the screen.

I don't quite understand the six weeks later bit. Why? Checked, the episode followed the previous one as per usual a week later. Why the six weeks later bit then? Was there a break in production? Anyway, Ashley Madekwe sure looked like she had a six-week holiday.

Seemed to be a Halloween episode, but it was shown in March 2013.

Christa B. Allen's main scene was cut out, but is fortunately presented as a deleted scene on the DVD. Wow, that girl looks like a thoroughbred rich man's daughter American princess, yeah!

Here's hoping that Sloane Hanover, who has her sights set on Daniel, appears again. She would make a worthy addition.

Hey, by the way, I've noticed (starting with secretary Grace) a slew of girls who has the same kind of basically Christa B. Allen look. And in this episode, that young woman being spoken to by Conrad, and Sloane, you can see all these girls go through the same makeup artist.

Another great performance by Madeleine Stowe. Especially there where Conrad questions her after her fainting spell. Hell, it was decades ago that I saw her in movies. Time treated her very, very well. Great!

Back on track a little

We jump forward 6 weeks for this episode, oddly.

It's another convoluted plot heavy episode all-round, with a lovely performance from Gabriel Mann as Nolan, who is given a few heavy things to deal with.

Hopefully after a mid series wobble 'Revenge' can now get back on track.
