Barrett Blade keeps up his losing streak for me (15 stinkers in a row and counting), as I watch the ubiquitous director's boring Wicked release "Saints and Sinners", which should have been titled Saint and Sinners since it revolves around the singular Samantha Saint. She's good, the vehicle ain't.
As a wall-to-waller that need not dally for story or characterization, the feature packs in six sex segments so it can't be faulted on gonzo quantity. But especially with Sam hogging the spotlight, it gets old in a hurry.
She's a true beauty and will likely go down in Porn History as the final Wicked Pictures contract girl, now that the label is winding down on the production end (in a market where DVDs are going to dodo-land). Jessica Drake remains the longest- running star in the Wicked firmament, but I can't see any new hires to follow SS.
There are some diverting moments, generally due to some attractive sets or costuming, as the XXX content is generic -basically what folks now get for free streaming, only with condoms added.
Outdoor sex including poolside cuts down on the claustrophobia of porn, while Shyla Jennings and Jayden Cole impress in a lesbian vignette enacted wearing fetish-gear. Fetish is also emphasized when Saint hooks up with tattooed Stevie Shae, turned into a threesome by Bill Bailey.
Blade's unholy teammate currently for the lesbian and massage junk produced by Bree Mills, one "Stills by Alan", is still doing just stills in this one that Blade directed. I wish there was a moonshiners/hillbilly vignette included so I could keep that repetition going, but that would depart from the boring "see the porn stars hump each other" content that is the sum total of what transpires here.
All told, if this keeps up they'll have to change the company name from Wicked to "Lukewarm Pictures".
