Trial by Media.

The story about Jack Marshall is spin by the Press, whipping up a frenzy against him. A reenactment of Danny's last night is staged.

The reality is that Jack and Mark are incredibly similar, Mark through his daughter, Jack through his past, the difference being that Jack adored his wife and son, Mark was happy to cheat on his wife.

The power of the Media is incredible, a newspaper has the power to make a huge amount of people think in a particular way, that's evident here, with zero evidence, Jack is made out to be the guilty party.

Just what is Susan up to, she's such a shady character, I've always thought Pauline Quirke is a better straight actress than a comedy one she has a lot of charisma.

Excellent, 9/10.

The way the director and writer manipulate the audience is exquisite... season 1 is like a very graceful symphony the tempo is elegant and almost everything is good ... hats off

I like that they putted in also the "war" with newspapers. And how they can influence people.

Anyway, this episode is about a specific character and its past. This episode is dramatic. But well made like the others. I love this show!

Still going strong

Another great episode working away to the bit where we shockingly discover that it was the husband that did it. Since I was already aware that the husband did it and of course I don't want to spoil things for other people so I kept quiet. Instead I started a chat with my bank because they never paid me the cash back that they advertised on several purchases which I made over the last month. It was supposed to appear within 14 days however a month later they still hadn't paid me the cash back despite the fact that I made several qualifying purchases at each of the locations that were advertised.

You're Funny. I've Never Met A Funny Vicar Before.

So what is this at the start? Some walk down the street for some reason. So we can see all the suspects in the town? Since all the townies are walking???

Okay I liked the Vicar's joke. +1 Star for finally an interesting line!

Hardy tries to get info from Walder Frey. Walder Frey is not stupid at least. Never trust the Police. +1 Star for Walder Frey

But Danny's Mom is spending way too much time with the Vicar. Seriously the Vicar is not going to help relieve your grief. -1 Star

The Press is all over Walder Frey now because the COPS have now ruined his life, whether he is guilty or not.

Dad/ Tom gets on his daughter about sleeping with dude, and daughter throws it back on him how he was with mom when she was 15. Yep. Don't be a hypocrite. It's the worst thing you can be as a Parent. And most parents are serious hypocrites.

Tom and Walder Frey have a pow wow. Freys son died when he was 6 in a car accident. Walder Frey is obviously not the bad guy in this. I suppose no Red Wedding is coming. Feel sorry for Walder or anyone else persecuted for bad reasons.

And are you kidding me? The end of this one....so upsetting. +1 Star for making me sad. 7/10.
