Well, at least I learned that an inquest involves determining the cause of demise.

Politics, politics. Pete Florrick wins the Democratic nomination for governor of Illinois, and immediately there are pictures of his son's girlfriend, the latter's family having ties with Al-Qaeda terrorists. Something has to give. Zach, the son, breaks up with the girl claiming that she was moving too fast. Who knows?

Interesting about the firm getting that contract only to soon discover that Cary's father made sure of it. Then, of course, the company changes its mind. Cary had a good part in this episode, and he was sarcastic and sneaky looking as possible. Nevertheless, there is that sadness in him that he is unable to maintain a healthy relationship with his estranged father.

Warning: Spoilers
The firm must try to go to court at a funeral home when Roger Ludwig shows up dead due to a car crash. It was funny to see Alicia and Will go up against another lawyer who was not a nice guy and it was satisfying for the pair to win out in the end. Cary's father returns to town wanting to be involved with the firm for his pharmaceutical company. The firm won the company but Cary remained as a fourth year even though his father tried to make him partner. The campaign wins over Maddie but they have their own problems where Eli to get rid of Jordan throws him under the bus for getting Zach to break up with his girlfriend which was beneficial for Zach but got Jordan out of his job which I am happy about because I never really liked the character to begin with. Robyn I thought would be a problem for the show but her being so different to Kalinda is great as the two work together and while she is a quirky girl she has her smarts which became helpful to the firm. Overall a good episode with nothing completely special happening but the end of the episode leaves us going to the banquet where Matthew Perry is expected to make his return to the show after he got his NBC show to be successful for that show making him unavailable to guest on the show like he could have.

EPISODE GRADE: B (MVP: Alan Cumming)
