A to Z is the story of a struggling, young door-to-door encyclopedia salesman and the depths to which sinks to move his product. The salesman, Ben, takes advantage of an elderly man with memory problems, Henry, by selling him the same set of books multiple times. But will Ben get caught? A to Z explores the struggles of the old and young with subtle humor, lessons learned, and hope for the future. A to Z is a short film written, produced, edited and directed by Jeremy Rush, for his graduate-level thesis film at American University in Washington, D.C. The film was shot on 16mm and runs 16:51.
