Pilot

The pacing seems to be all over the place, jokes can be over explained at times, and andy samberg is just doing his SNL nic cage impression. However, it has its moments, and the ending of episode 1 is fairly solid. There are surely worse things to waste your time on, so, for whatever that's worth, give it a go.

If you're looking for a "yes then" style story structure then this is not the pilot for you. While the bare bones plot does just enough to carry the story along, most of the jokes come via obscure references rather than organic situations. But, like I said, it does has it's moments, and by no means is this a terrible pilot... it's just not very solid either.
