Battling
With movies like this one, I personally think, it makes sense to read up on the subject you are about to watch. Or at least be a bit familiar with it. Since I don't read anything about the movies before I watch them, I was at a bit of a disadvantage. Or at least I might have had other feelings for it, if I knew more. I can't say for certain though, I can only say the movie didn't touch me that much.
It did play at the International Film Festival in Berlin though, which is a big deal for a movie like this. While it's almost colorless (white, black and occasional red), it does try to blur the line between documentary and "fiction" (it tells a story about someone coming back and so on). The movie is probably personal to the director and I wish I could've felt that way too, but as it is, I can only say it looks really good, but it didn't get me emotionally invested
