Everyone should watch this movie. This is not a great movie or you will enjoy it very much. But this film conveys a very important message o the viewer. After watching this movie you could imagine what might have been happened to the missing Malaysian Airlines Flight MH370.

The film was made by volunteers with funding from unions, passenger groups and concerned aviation figures. It is based on actual events surrounding the issue of Aerotoxic Syndrome.

Big airplane companies never tell how harmful it is inside of a plane. Because of the engine fumes the air inside of the airplane get contaminated with toxic gas.

This movie is build to raise awareness among general people but lack of publicity and big rival they could not do much.So I think everyone should watch this film and recommend it to his/her loved ones.

Boring film, beautiful setting

Didn't think the film was great tbh but the scenery including the car parks, fire station and cricket pitch was very impressive and was clearly shot in a lovely uk town which I would guess is in the south east. In fact I would go as far to say it looked like the best place in the world and will look into moving there soon. I particularly enjoyed the scenes in the cafe and restaurant however the lack of footage on pondtail road disappointed me. The hotel place looked alright although I would presume they don't pay their staff very well.

The vision is there. .What next.

The cinematographer of this movie does not do it justice, I'm irritated. This is filmmaking basic, isn't it? I won't bother to look to see who it was... He should have been fired at the early ' dailies' stage... The reason for this is obvious, some scenes are lit sometimes incongruously different to the next...and they don't splice well together…

Some of it is shot reasonably well... Some of it is shot amateurish.... The only reason I comment is that this could have been a much better film... Someone should tell the investors...

It all comes back to the judgment of the director anyway... And...directors can't squander good opportunities, can they?...

I like the Greek chick tho from StarTrek though Marina Sirtis... She should have been allowed to give herself to the job, there is personality there, rather than there be the human robot that we got...... Never listen to the suits...

A film that raises public awareness

In our world of capitalism in which greedy corporations seek to meet their year-on-year profit margins, collateral damage is regarded as acceptable risks. We, as the public, often pay no thought to the potential consequences and risks of placing our trust in such corporations. Indeed, the public often have no choice in some of the things that are used on a daily basis. This film deals with one of those things that is called flying.

It is concerning how little regard there is for collateral damages (in this case, the health and safety of the paying customer). Especially in light of the fact that the problem is known. And yet, what can the public do to force a change in regulations when the regulations are not set up with the customer in mind. It is disturbing that there has been no move to take any form of action (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/A_Dark_Reflection#References).

The film's style and atmosphere is similar to many British-made political conspiracy thriller. It conveys a message without the need for theatrics or a melodramatic soundtrack. In this regards it is well done. My only criticism was the unnecessary introduction which served no purpose but to give a background introduction to the protagonist.

There need to be more films like this that promote public awareness, and help the struggle against multi-conglomerates that rely on us to meet their profit margins and yet, place so little importance on the customer's well-being. It is exactly because they can afford (and are allowed) to do so that this issue still remains.

Top exposure for West Sussex

I live on West Sussex and all the best bits are here. From Fontwell Park racecourse (glad to see Goodwood didn't get all the attention for once) to Douthdowns Gliding Club to sweeping views of the South Downs themselves. Lovely interiors of the great eateries of Horsham which have quaintly refused to move out of the 1980s fight for your attention with the baronial grandeur of Ashurst Park Hotel and it's plush draperies.

In amongst all of this is some confusing stuff about aeroplanes.

Pilot Error

The film is based on a true story.

Reporter Helen Eastman (Georgina Sutcliffe) returns from the Middle East after her bf camera man became too successful at catching bullets. She takes a mundane job at same town newspaper. Her new BF (TJ Herbert) is an air traffic controller who gets suspended for what appears to be pilot error. Helen starts a small investigation that escalates into Erin Brockovich status, involving airlines poisoning people with fumes.

The film was interesting but lacked the persona drama, emotion, and intensity of said "Erin Brockovich" or "All the President's Men." The ending lacked that great gotcha moment or heartfelt scene...perhaps too close to the truth.
