While changing a flat tire with a broken jack, Andrew, Paul and their new surfer friends are forced to lift a van by hand on a road infamous for road pirates. Andrew discovers the gas tank has a leak. Paul meets two boys in Teluk Dalam practicing English by studying an old American insurance manual. Paul helps with pronunciation. Max and Stefan stay awake all night to paddle out for dawn patrol in Lagundri Bay.
Andrew takes control of Zeemail's side-hack and Zeemail comes alive as a passenger. He wants Andrew to take him to New York. Netti and Marina explain that locals think Andrew and Paul are Australians planning an attack. Military police escort Andrew and Paul off of the Kodam army base.
