P.S. I Love You (#8.15)

Warning: Spoilers
Another episode about Robin Sparkles! Love those. And it is a good story. Of course I especially liked Barney getting obsessed about Robin's teenage obsession and travel to Canada. All those Tim Horton's and doughnuts and "aboots" are wonderful. And I like how it went, with Barney fighting Alan Thicke. That fighting scene in the hall with Alan Thicke holding Barney down in the hall while eating a doughnut is just priceless.

And I really like Ted's new story. Now this can really become interesting. He is really starting to date a stalker, I am sure they can get some cray storyline for this.

Not bad, but freaking annoying.

Warning: Spoilers
When Your teased with something in the beginning You stick Your attention to it, than after awhile You start to lose Your interest. After that You enter the stage where You don't even want the thing You where teased by, and You excitement rather turn in to a anger... HIMYM is really, really, reaaall ... wait for it... yy over stretched the waiting for the title event to happen. Which starts to badly impact the episodes. Things which would work great and would be more fun, fail flatter since that's not what we want. I love the show but the last two season where sinking, and that's the reason for it. Honest to good I'm starting to get a feeling "do i even want to watch this?" which is a pity. And I'm worried no matter how awesome the "meting Your mother" part will be, it will leave many fans with a bad taste in there mount, because the mother should have been appeared like 2 seasons ago.

Neil Patrick Harris Is The Best Thing In This
slightlymad2218 February 2015
For some explicable reason the TV channel I'm watching the reruns on, skipped the last episode (Thanks E4) and went straight on to this one!! I hate it when it does that!! Hopefully I have not missed anything too important.

Neil Patrick Harris knocks it out if the park once again as Barney Stinson in How I Met Your Mother.

Plot in A Paragraph: Ted spots who he believes is "The One" (and of course Ted being Ted, that means he thinks she will be "The love of my life" and "The future mother of my children") on the subway, but she gets off before he can say anything to her. They run in go each other the next day. Ted believes it's fate telling them that they were meant to be together. However, Marshall and Lily believe she may have been stalking him. Meanwhile Barney becomes obsessed with finding out the object of Robin stalked in her younger years.

As Canadian, I find this the funniest episode ever. And all those Canadian celebs. I guess most Americans have no idea!

Robin Daggers ?

Warning: Spoilers
Don't know what the writers were smoking. It's one thing to make small changes to fit the plot of the episode in order to make it funny, but this is ridiculous. Friends too, had minor inconsistencies like messed up birthday dates over seasons, but never like this.

When the gang found her first Robin Sparkles video, it was heartwarming, funny and cute. At the time- Robin said she had ONE minor hit- Let's go to the mall..which Barney, took so much time to find because it wasn't available anywhere.

Then came Sandcastles song..which was inconsistent but okay, we thought this would further the plot.

But now, it shows Robin was a major star after the Mall song, with her requiring to go to tours, concerts, etc. How did th gang not know this before ? A simple search would show who their friend really was. But this was inconsistent by a landslide. The whole episode makes no sense with what followed before, and frankly, cheapens the earlier episodes by showing they didn't mean anything.

Pathetic, cringeworthy episode.

Hate it

Hate Robin Sparkles and everything related to it. The plot is boring with not even one good joke. Season 8 is getting worse and worse... Wonder when it will stop.
