Modiri's previous HNE show entitled Ghahve Talkh (Bitter Coffee) is considered to be the highest grossing show of its kind.
During filming of his previous project -Ghalbe Yakhi Season 3- Modiri severely damaged the pinkie finger of his right hand. However, he refused to have an operation, as he would needed to have to wear a cast for over 2 months. Therefore in most scenes of Vilaye Man, Modiri sports a leather glove to cover the damage done to his hand.
Vilaye Man is done in the new format called Home Network Entertainment (HNE). This format allows quality programming with star power to be released in series format on a regular weekly basis on DVD instead of a TV network or cable.
