I think overall this was a pretty good episode of Bones. The actual case was alright, of course, it was a jealous husband, nothing too surprising. I personally liked the B plots of the week.
The nature of this case led Bones and Booth to spend some time talking about what they want to happen to them when they die. I thought it was very on brand for Bones to have a 312 page will. I also thought it was humorous that Booth just has he will written on a sticky note. However, as the daughter of someone in law enforcement, I can guarantee you that the FBI would have made Booth go through a very detailed process about everything regarding what would happen if he died (who he would want to notify the family, the will, how would he want the funeral to be, etc.) but for the purpose of the show it was amusing. I did also like the sweet moment at the end of him recording a message to Christine, though I hope he is planning on making a video for Parker as well.
The other B plot we had was regarding Daisy and Sweet, and surprisingly, they were actually tolerable this week. First of all, it was a little creepy that Daisy was trying to match the mannerisms and speech patterns of Bones, however, I did like that Daisy felt more like a person and less like a caricature. I also appreciate that Daisy and Sweets were interacting like two adults who have been through a rough break up. The writers could have easily made Daisy go super crazy over this and I am glad that they didn't.
One small comment about Hodgins. Don't you think he would have gotten a blender dedicated to crushing up bugs by now? I mean in season 3 he uses Cam's blender, which is so nasty, and now he is talking about using the coffee grinder. Can the Jeffersonian not just invest like $50 into getting Hodgins a blender only for his bugs?
Best part: Bones watching Booth record the message to Christine, it was a very sweet moment and it was another time where the audience got to see that Bones isn't cold hearted and closed off like some people think
Worst part: Daisy saying "I don't know what that means" in an effort to copy Bones, super creepy.
