This episode feels like it was written by an undergraduate working on their BA in creative writing, and this was what they submitted for a screenplay. It isn't funny, charming, or fun, which is what the rest of the series has been up to this point. Instead it's weird, awkward, and cringey. Throughout the episode, Tessa tries to prove that she's cool by talking like Snoop Dogg if he quit smoking weed. Meanwhile Noah tries to win the affections of his former housekeeper by dressing like a Mariachi and singing outside her home. It doesn't work, of course, but only because she's dating his therapist. Again, it's a lot of weird, awkward, cringey garbage.
