Firstly, I am very disappointed as this was the last episode of this series as the show will go off air due to Disney's acquisition of Lucasfilm. :'( Now coming to the episode. It was probably the best episode in the series thus far. With strong character development to an enjoyable story, it had everything.
The story of Ashoka's hardships continues and she is put on a trial. She is unable to win anyone's trust except his Master.
This episode not just puts forward a strong story line and climax, but also acknowledges the so called "Jedi are Peacekeepers" aspect of the universe. Like master like Padawan, Ashoka has many traits of Anakin, which is eminent throughout the series. This aspect is also explored in this episode through the understanding level of one for the other. An emotional send off might make you feel a little heavyhearted. As I said, due to strong character development one feels attached towards Ashoka character. Voice acting is top notch.
The series is one of the causality of Disney's takeover of Lucasfilm, thus leaving Maul's story in a cliffhanger and Ashoka's fate remains unknown. Sad indeed.
Direction: Outstanding.
Story/screenplay: Strong and the best of the series.
Music: Breathtaking, new and just amazing.
An awesome send off to the series, a must watch episode.
