Amazing episode, this show's momentum is astounding considering there is only one more left!
First off drama and tension between the Will/Emily/Micah triangle finally comes to a head at the end of this episode. There were so many special moments between Emily and Micah that shows that even if she is oblivious to his feelings for her, she's starting to realize her own feelings for him. Especially when he came out and comforted her after a traumatic surgery and gave her a huge hug. Her line, "It's crazy isn't it? I've only known you for what, five months? It feels like a lot longer" I think that just sums up that these two have amazing chemistry and love for one another and belong together.
Now for all the Will/Emily fans, clearly Will's jealousy is starting to come out more and more, especially when he sees Emily and Micah joking around together, you can just see by the look on his face that he has feelings for Emily. He keeps denying it to Cassandra, but she's no fool. She keeps bringing it up all throughout the episode and keeps getting more and more fed up with Will's brushing it off. I really felt bad for Cassandra because in retro-spec when she was happy with Will you could see her actually being nice to Emily and showing that she did have a caring and good side to her. Her insecurity really came out this episode but at least she had the strength to do the right thing in the end.
The other major plot points were of course Dr. Aquino's continuous advances towards Dr. Bandari, and also Tyra and her father coming to grips with him treating her like a child.
Also one more thing I'd like to mention about Tyra, and I'm sure the writers crack themselves up, is that she has become the world's biggest "cock-block" in history! I could not stop laughing when Micah went back to talk to Emily after calling Dr. Aquino out on his BS. Here's how the scene played out: Micah looks at his empty seat near Emily, starts to walk towards.
Enter Tyra - sits down in Micah's spot.
Look on Micah's face - eye roll . . . "You got to be kidding me"
Anyways, for those of you who watched this episode you know how it ends! Amazing!
Finally a little disclaimer: Please anyone out there with a few million(s) to spare (here's praying) or a network that's willing to take a chance on GOOD TV. Please save Emily Owens. Or at least put Michael Rady into another great show stat. And also Mamie Gummer because I think she is the most under-rated amazing actress ever. I'm sick of all these hot fake characters that don't make you feel anything. Every character on Emily Owens feels real to me and this show just keeps getting better and better! Great writing plus great actors = pure genius. Anyways enough of my rant, I'm so excited for the last episode. SAVE EMILY OWENS!
