When Jennifer is dining with her dad by the pool, she is wearing her heart necklace. In the next scene when she walks into the lobby to watch the dancers, her necklace disappears and then reappears.
When Hal Sanders shows off his dance moves for the first time by the pool, Ken breaks character and begins to laugh to somebody off camera.
A number of dancers are incorrectly credited as "The Captian's Dancers" - where the word "Captain" is misspelled.
Locals will notice that during several montages the characters make impossible jumps between locations. For example, Tonie's Dance Studio (at this time) was located in Callaway on the far east side of Panama City, but somehow Ken dances from there to the hotel 16 miles away and then back 8 miles to St Andrews Marina in the space of a single verse. Jenny also would not have been able to walk 13 miles from Beach Drive downtown to Pier Park before the random dance party materializes (note, flash mobs of salsa dancers never never appear at Pier Park)
The Panama City & Beaches Airport is 18 miles outside of town. Golf carts can not legally travel on state highways. Jenny would not have been able to get from the airport to her father's hotel in a golf cart under any circumstances much less in the space of a song chorus.
The hotel clerk asks "wherefore art thou Romeo" while looking for paperwork on a guest named Romeo, however this phrase does not mean "where are you, Romeo?", rather it means "WHY are you Romeo?" In the context of Romeo and Juliet, Juliet is wondering aloud why Romeo is who he is... because she is forbidden to socialize with his family. She's bemoaning her bad luck at being in love with someone she's not allowed to be in love with. The phrase has nothing to do with location, so it doesn't make sense for the clerk to say it while looking for Romeo's paperwork. It's a common misunderstanding of Shakespeare but an error all the same.
