Awesome Episode!

Warning: Spoilers
The last reviewer of this episode is either a young child or has lived under a rock for the last 30 years. This episode has clear references to back to the future and instantly became of of my favorite episodes of this show. Seeing Dr. Brown(as Dennis Powers) return and get a Delorean his 'dream car' was awesome. I have to admit that this episode did seem a bit like someone in the production office had an idea, threw it out to Christopher Lloyd and he was down for it and they went with it. If so I think they did a great job of it. Great tribute to some great movies IMO. Other than getting to 88MPH no other direct references were made to Back To The Future.

Distracting plot holes

Warning: Spoilers
Credit card debts fall off your credit report after 7 years of nonpayment. The banker couldn't have legally collected on that debt. The Back to the Future references are fun, and it's nice to see Sabrina convince Jimmy to buy a new car. They could have avoided the plot hole buy having the shady banker attempt to collect, have Sabrina explain the fairly common knowledge about credit card debt, and have the parents sell the DeLorean to the banker so Jimmy would have a down payment, as it's hard to get a good deal with bad/zero credit, and the parents feel guilty about the credit card fraud.

But they went the distracting route instead.

Raising Hope Credit Where Credit Is Due

Warning: Spoilers
Barney is having another theme for the store but no one is listening, Jimmy and Sabrina talk about getting a new car which Sabrina tells Jimmy to get. Jimmy wants to talk to his parents and Sabrina tells him he should not have to talk to his parents. Jimmy is told by his parents not to get a loan and tell him to go get an old car. Sabrina comes along and is not impressed by any cars. A car is found but instead of getting the new car Jimmy gets Virginia's old one while Bert and Virginia gets the car the family called their diamond. Sabrina then brings Jimmy to a car shop and Jimmy loves the new cars she showed him. When Jimmy goes off to sign some papers he finds out he cannot get credit because his name was already used when he was younger. He then thinks back about his parents getting him to sign signatures. Jimmy goes home and asks his parents why they used his name for credit when he was young. The chances then have to go to the bank to solve the problem but the banker does not want to solver their problems. To get rid of Jimmy's debt by showing the banker the car that the banker just falls in love with the car and lets them off. Weird episode that moved too fast for me to care about anything they put on the screen. The acting and writing was bad to me compared to past episodes the show has done.

EPISODE GRADE: D (MVP: Lucas Neff)
