A disappointing episode

Overall, this was a disappointing episode. So, basically Mindy is still stressed over what happened in the previous episode. Out of nowhere, her brother Rashi appears and tells her he plans to leave college to pursue a rap career. What an awful idea. To make matters worse her brother isn't the least bit likable like the rest of the characters. When Mindy finally does decide to help him - despite his mean treatment towards her earlier - she has to be a backup singer for him and due to the explicit lyrics this exchange feels slightly incestuous. It also proves that the 'best' raps must contain misogynistic lyrics to be cool. There's a subplot about the practices rent which is pretty boring. Definitely a bad episode to an otherwise good show.

Mindy starts her new year with many resolutions and then comes home to a messed up home finding her younger brother Rishi (Utkarsh Ambudkar) is responsible. Mindy then brings her brother into work and everyone seems to fall for him including the receptionists of the office. Mindy starts to go through stress which makes her get sick which makes everyone stay away from her. Mindy's brother raps for everyone and then reveals his true plans are to become a rapper by dropping out of college. Mindy then kicks out her brother for wanting to drop out of school. Jeremy and Danny at the same time have to deal with the rent of the practice. When they fail with the son of their normal rent guy they go to find the guy George now in a nursing home. They have to help George get a girl to get help and when they get the girl for him it turns out the girl was someones wife. Mindy goes to visit her brother getting ready for his rap concert and finds out that he needs a backup singer. Morgan try's it first but then Mindy steps out on stage to sing some inappropriate words with her younger brother,. Boring episode overall with me laughing at nothing, Mindy's brother was annoying and it just made Mindy a more awful character then ever.
