Suit Warehouse (#9.11)

Warning: Spoilers
Dwight and Clark pretend to be father and son to make a sale.

Great episode! The whole sales interview of Dwight and Clark is awesome. Especially when Dwight realizes that they shouldn't get along and Clark who wasn't in the room misses it. Darryl's interview was also good. His face when he saw that he killed the fish! And the rest of the office also gave us some laughs tearing down the carpet from the floor.

Storylines were pretty good with one magical moment. When that moment happened you'll know!

2 out of 3 plots were amazing

Dwight plot: amazing

Philadelphia plot: amazing

Nespresso Ad: nothing, but an ad. Nestlé is the worst.

"Suit Wearhose" from The Office is a real treat, especially thanks to Dwight's crazy ideas and the hilarious stuff happening in Philadelphia. But, there's a catch - a Nespresso ad that feels like a sneaky commercial break. And by the way, Nestlé - known for child labor (see wikipedia) should not be supported.

First off, Dwight steals the show with his wild plan for a new dress code. It's pure silliness and had me cracking up. The whole office getting on board with his "suit wearhose" idea is just classic Dwight weirdness.

In Philly, the gang keeps the laughs coming. The way they handle everyday office chaos is just too funny. The cast has a great vibe, and you can't help but smile at their antics.

But, here's the downside - that Nespresso ad. It sticks out like a sore thumb. Instead of blending into the story, it feels like a random commercial break. And to top it off, it's an ad for Nestlé's Nespresso. Some folks might not like that, considering Nestlé's not exactly known for being a good guy in the corporate world.

So, "Suit Wearhose" is awesome for Dwight's craziness and the Philly crew's humor. Just be ready for an ad break that's more about selling coffee than making you laugh. And yeah, Nestlé's got some issues, but the rest of the episode is a riot.

Pam is the worst wife

Warning: Spoilers
... always acting so jealous and like a baby. I am so sick of it.

Team Jim.

I hope he will just keep do what he loves. And I am happy that Darryl got the job.

I do not know why Pam acts weird around not living in Scranton. Philly is a big city.

Terrible embedded marketing
corraditto29 July 2020
Half the episode was about employees drinking coffee from a new Nespresso machine, it was very unnatural, not funny at all. It was like Truman's wife advertising kitchen items.

Horrible marketing to whitewash Nestlé
LasagnaNative23 April 2023
Non-stop marketing for a company as evil as Nestlé does not go unnoticed. Most of what wasn't coffee marketing was decent entertainment, though these scenes never really lasted long enough for my Nestlé-shivers to leave before the episode had ended. The trip to Philly was mediocre and of varying quality. On the positive note, Dwight and Clark's mission was at the level of what The Office should be. They managed to throw you a good mix of humour and awkwardness.

All in all, this was a big disappointment to me. To pay for what you expect is high quality entertainment and, not only getting a poor episode in return, but also a 20-minute advert from a professional humanity crusher like Nestlé is straight up offensive.

Avoid

Warning: Spoilers
Great show, exceedingly poor episode. Mostly because of the Jim/Pam/Daryl side of the episode. Patronising to the viewer and extremely dry. Yet another cascade of filler content. And yup, Pam's jealousy of Daryl is so out of character. Just a build-up to the "tension" in Jim and Pam's relationship.

Oh actually now I think about it, the Nespresso product placement was overt and unforgivable. What made it worse was the content they built from it, just a bunch of people drinking too much coffee. That's not how people are with too much coffee. Exhausting, and no, not because I drank too much coffee, my energy levels crashed from too much poor episode.

The Dwight/Clarke bit was pretty funny. Dwight always delivers.
