This is a really powerful Bones episode.
I think that they handled this serious and intense topic in a very good way. When Kat goes into Sweets' office and says "I was raped," I got goosebumps. It was just such a powerful moment and both actors did a great job making these interaction feel real. Then, later when Sweets talks about his past childhood abuse, it just shed more light on why Sweets is able to connect so well with Kat.
I also really enjoyed how they used the photos from the party to put together what happened throughout the night. I think it is pretty realistic that high schoolers would take pictures of a party (though I'd like to think they would be smart enough to not upload it to the internet, but oh well).
I also thoroughly enjoyed the end in the interrogation room where they got the guy to admit to the rape. I think it was a fun little trick that they played on him (but maybe he should have considered a lawyer before getting put in this situation).
Overall, this was a really great episode. The writers handled this serious topic really well and I felt like I was able to follow along easily. I really liked that it was more of a Sweets focused episode. This is definitely a Bones episode that always stands out to me. My one complaint was that I was sometimes confused about the age of the people we were talking to. They were all high schoolers but apparently some were 18 because they didn't have parent present. I just wish that was made a bit more clear.
Best part: how trusting, understanding, and approachable Sweet was in this episode
Worst part: Bones not knowing about Gilligan's Island, c'mon Bones that show is way before my time but even I have a general sense of the show!
