The film was shoot with a 3D camera system Scratch-Developed from Gopro 1 and Gopro 2 models by Meinolf Amekudzi. At the time of filming, there were no GoPro 3D rigs. After production was wrapped GoPro released his new 3D rig with GoPro3 Cam's.
The movie was shoot as a Mockumentary. Every person speaks his own language. Germans spoke German and US Soldiers spoke English. It was planned to subtitle and give the hole movie a documenting style. Some critics write that this movie is a homage on FPS-Games but that's based on the marketing of the distributors and wrong. Originally this movie was planned to be a Mockumentary shoot in 3D POV Style. Before the releasing it was re-cut and dubbed. Thats why most of the critics blame the movie on the lack of "FPS-GAMING REFERENCES".
The movie, based on a real World War 2 location, was shoot on the real historical outdoor locations in Bavaria/Germany. The inside location where shot in a steel mill.
The movie was produced under the Title: CERUSIT 3D. This was the code name for the real secret underground base located in Germany by the Nazis in WW2. Later the move became released by the distributors under the title: Bunker of the Dead 3D.
The swastika Flag burned by the main character was no replica.
