My one question for this is: where was his catheter? You don't just lie there for two weeks without one...just saying. Also, he would have had spaghetti knees/legs. Then he runs up and down stairs at the school? I really want to like this show, but the writers are just being a bit lazy when it comes to common sense medical facts.
