Ignore the sandcrab

Warning: Spoilers
This episode is very clever. I really enjoyed the main mystery but the subplots were just as interesting. I don't know why sandcrab insists on polluting that atmosphere with reviews that whinge about the premise of loads of shows. If you don't like it, and you certainly don't get it, don't watch it. Leave us in peace. Nice to see Arastoo again so soon and Bones trying out psychology. More please!

All About Camastoo
mediamusings1224 October 2023
Hi Bones Booth Pod!

This is one of the stronger episodes of Season 8. The case is interesting and memorable, but also the B plot is significant because it is the first on screen confirmation of Camastoo! I will admit that when this episode first aired, I did not see the romantic pairing between Cam and Arastoo coming, but I was quickly on board with the idea. If you go back and watch Arastoo's episodes from S4-7, you will see that when he is not in a group scene with Brennan and the others, he has almost all of his other scenes exclusively with Cam. I don't know how far ahead of Season 8 the writers decided they wanted to make Cam and Arastoo a couple, but I do think it makes sense, and that they are very cute together. Cam deserves to be happy, and to be with someone who recognizes how beautiful, smart, and kind she is. Arastoo deserves to be happy too, so I am glad they found each other.

I love Camastoo as a couple, but I do often wonder how they got together, because the episode doesn't tell us. Did he ask her out, because if so that is a very bold move to ask out the boss, but it's just as bold if she asked him out. The Jeffersonian obviously has both bad security and non-existent HR, and they are hardly the first people from the lab to date each other, but it is an interesting power dynamic. (One that I don't have an issue with because it's fiction, but in real life I probably would).

Case Interesting
Hitchcoc20 February 2023
The case involves a man whose job it is to clean up crime scenes and suicides. He has been wrapped in industrial plastic and left on a beach. He works with a stepson who has had problems as he has growing up. He also has a rival, an arrogant jerk who knows the law and makes the mistake of smugly getting in Brennan's face. She has a hunch, something she rarely pays attention to. She becomes tenacious. Meanwhile, romance is brewing in the lab in the form of poetry, written in Farsi. The forensics are interesting and unique and Brennan's insights are based on her experience with tribal mores. I would say an average episode.

Some serious criticism for no reason!

This programme is one of the best shows on TV. It great to see Brennan turn from the hard-core workaholic with no social skills, to developing a personality. I've loved every episode so far and it's not only entertaining but is funny also.. ignore the 1 star critics.. This is the go to show.

pathetic photography

I'm sick of watching shots of washington, d.c. taking up valuable film space to perpetuate the illusion that this series is filmed other than in los angeles ... you can't fool all of the people anytime ... brennan is still spouting useless gobbdegook and ranting about how great she is ... its a serious character flaw ... she cannot relate to human beings like normal people ... sweets is acting like a child ... it'll not be long before he's gone
