While listening to her new track Rayna is told she is performing at the anniversary concert of the label. She wants to sing some new stuff instead of the old. Juliet is told by some of her people that dating this man is bad for his career instead of hers. Juliet is told she is singing one song because of her private life being in the public. Juliet is told she is going to sing with Rayna at the concert. At home Teddy gets a call from Coleman to meet him because they need to talk. At work Scarlett talks to Gunnar about her problems losing Avery. Coleman shows Teddy the photos and tells him to drop out. Juliet is still mad about singing with Rayna even though the label is making her. Deacon is starting to find it hard with Scarlett staying in the house all the time putting her and Gunnar into the label show. Rayna is told she is singing a duet with Juliet at the end of the show. Rayna and Juliet start their rehearsal and the conflict remains there because they both know they do not like each other. Scarlett while out dancing starts to sing a song she loves. Gunnar's girlfriend notices that he is acting weird when he looks at Scarlett. Rayna lashes out at Juliet saying she has not earned her place in the business. Deacon leaves as well giving Rayna some of Juliet's new music. When Juliet try's to sleep with her football player boyfriend he does not want to. When Scarlett comes over to apologize to Avery he was sleeping with his manager making her leave. Rayna comes Juliet's for both of them to write a new song for the finale performance. While writing the new song Juliet and Rayna talk about Deacon not being in their life. Scarlett thanks Avery for him being great in her life. In the dressing room Juliet is left alone only to get a visit from her football player boyfriend. The label show ends with Rayna and Juliet doing their duet together on the stage in front of a massive audience. The two go out to sing their song and as the head of the label says the song will be big so they will sing together again. The episode did a great build up to the end but dragging down still is Scarlett as that character is awful.
