When the body of the Congressman's daughter Charlotte Coates is found in a park where drug dealers sell drugs, the CBI team assumes the case. They interview her parents and learn that she was a model in rehab. Further, a valuable necklace had disappeared and her father Jeffrey Coates believes Charlotte might have stolen, but her mother Lisa Coates fired the maid Maria since she was sure that Maria was the thief. Patrick and Lisbon visit the clinic where Charlotte was treating her addiction and Patrick meets her counselor, her roommate and other patients. Soon he plots an orthodox plan to catch the murderer. Meanwhile, Lisbon is obsessed to catch Tommy Volker, but all her evidence are destroyed.
"Days of Wine and Roses" is an episode of "The Mentalist" with two good storylines. Patrick Jane, as usual, using a weird plan to disclose the killer, and Lisbon feeling that something is happening and Tommy Volker is always ahead of her investigation. My vote is seven.
