Lobster Crawl (#8.9)

Warning: Spoilers
The beginning with Barney's tie dying was too funny. The fact that the tie's name was "Cornelius" was alone hilarious.

The main story about Robin now wanting Barney because he said he is over with trying to get her is well done. Robin makes one laugh a lot. I also loved Lily's suggestion on how to attract Barney with another woman because she wanted to be the other woman and also because this is what worked on Marshall the best. It is also interesting how Barney's character is changing. Usually this kind of character remains the same through the show and doesn't go through any growth, but he seems to now want relationships and even went on a date with somebody like Patrice. I almost wonder if it is his trick to get Robin, because this would be like old Barney!.

Ted as a babysitter was also a nice story. I like how they made the reason he was so about this kid not an easy explanation, that he wants kids himself, but actually make it about his career. And Lily and Marshall got their payback!

An Improvement On The Last Couple Of Episodes
slightlymad2214 February 2015
An improvement over the last two episodes, but the show massively needs to up its game!!

Plot In A Paragraph: Lilys Dad Mickey is sick, so Ted babysits sit baby Marvin. Marahall and Lily soon regret their decision as Ted goes a little overboard. Meanwhile, Barney is going overboard too, after spilling ketchup on one of his ties, and failing to "revive" it with CPR, he sinks into depression. At the same time Lily has noticed that Robin is acting like a giddy little schoolgirl around Barney. Lily figures out it's because she now wants Barney back, and will stop at nothing to get him!!

All the casts are great here (which can't always be said) and Cobie Smulders (who I have often been critical of) is very good and looks stunning in both the Tomb Raider outfit and Lingerie.

the death of a tie and the birth of bro-bibs
jain-vasu63128 July 2013
since Mickey is ill Ted gets the job for babysitting Marvin as he has no other job right now. meanwhile Barney accidentally spills ketchup on one of his favorite ties. Despondent that his tie has "died", he mourns its loss. Meanwhile, Lily notices that Robin has been flirting with Barney even though he made it clear he will never pursue her again. She tries to discourage Robin from trying it again.but robin does it eventually. Ted sees baby Marvin crawl for the first time but every time Marshall and lily are there Marvin never does so. this agitates lily. barney after the loss of a beloved tie has a business idea ,He intends to produce "Bro-Bibs," a line of adult-themed bibs designed to protect men's clothes against spilled food. this all mash up leads to a good laugh although with a very weak plot my advice can watch it two times but no more can doos baby doll.

I hate robin

This episode really sucks, the only good thing about this episode is Marvin and Ted.

Robin only wants to get Barney because she can't have him which is really toxic and immature. No wonder why they did'nt workout.
