The dragons have been poisoned, and it's up to the Riders to find out what poisoned them and if there is a cure. As usual, Mildew was behind it, whether it be intentional (probably) or not. The story and the development are fine; not on par with the ones before it, but fine. The episode itself is above average, but Stoick's slight development makes this quite a bit better. The scenes where he admits that he was wrong for hunting dragons and bonds with Thornado is great. It really shows that he's coming around.
Hopefully Mildew has given up for a while, given the events in this episode. He's not a bad character, he just grows rather tiresome. I'd much rather have Alvin the Treacherous now.
Choosing a rating was hard yet again. In the end, I think it warrants a seven. Nothing spectacular, just good.
