"We conjured up the ghost of Lizzie Borden and now her lesbian ass is haunting our sorority house?!"
capkronos14 January 2014
Warning: Spoilers
In Fall River, Massachusetts in 1892, Lizzie Borden (Jenny Allford) chops up her religious fanatic parents (mom is played by veteran Scream Queen Brinke Stevens in a boring cameo) because they disapprove of her being a lesbian. This first scene alone, with its terrible acting, an exterior shot of a house that looks absolutely nothing like a turn-of-the-century home, barren porn-level "art direction" and hilariously bad CGI blood splatter, pretty much sets the tone for what's to follow. And it's not a pretty picture, folks. Things cut to modern day as seven sorority sisters face "punishment" for being caught (gasp!) drinking. So what does this punishment entail? Well, it involves missing a Spring Break trip to Florida and something about them being locked up inside Lizzie Borden's former house and being forced to have a slumber party dressed only in lingerie.

During a game of Truth or Dare, nerdy Cindy (Kelly Erin Decker) decides that for her dare they all should hold a séance to call forth the spirit of Lizzie. One of the girls, Leslie (porno actress Veronica Ricci), happens to be a descendant of the Borden clan and immediately becomes possessed. The other girls are Amanda (Marlene Mc'Cohen), whose mentally-disturbed younger sister Vanessa (Krystal Ellsworth) has managed to sneak inside, Dee (Tiffany Mualem), who has severe anger management issues, Janice (Ginny You), who is an uptight tattle-tale, Ashley (Mindy Robinson), a tattooed, silicone-chested slut, and Mallory (Shanalynne Wesner), whose attempt to take naughty birthday pics for her boyfriend results in pervert photographer Bobby (Michael Beardsley) breaking into the house armed with a handycam to shoot material to upload onto his porno website. The above characters talk, and wander down hallways, and talk some more, and run up the stairs, and talk, and sit on the couch and argue and whine and argue some more. It's about as much fun as it sounds. Every once in awhile, Lizzie (in crappy dime store Halloween kit level makeup) pops in to kill someone off.

I'm actually a longtime fan of low-budget horror flicks - including the same director's DEAD GIRLS (1990) - but this sunk too low even for me. The acting is atrocious, the dialogue ("I'm not retarded... I'm mentally imbalanced!") and attempts at character arcs (like the photographer's sudden big 'coming out' moment... don't ask) are cringe-worthy, the makeup and fx are extremely lame, the editing is terrible... Well, actually, *everything* is terrible. Worst of all, it commits the biggest sin for one of these things by being boring. Even several of the actresses getting naked doesn't help matters. The only one able to rise above the material is You, who seems to have a knack for comedy. I wouldn't mind seeing her in something else. Several of the other girls show hints of appeal or talent, as if they could be better in something else, but this sure as hell isn't it.

Who would fund this movie?
graham43-947-81465014 March 2014
When you think of all the up and coming film makers who would jump at the opportunity to get funding to make a movie you have to ask yourself why this piece of nonsense ever got made. As previous reviewers have said it has all the acting, directing and content quality of a 70's porn movie without the porn! It's hard to imagine that the people involved in producing this film sat around looking at the days shooting and thinking " this is good". Just the first few minutes sets the tone of the rest of the movie. Who did they get to play Mr. Borden?...a friend who fancied being in a movie?....the pizza delivery guy who had a spare few minutes? Total rubbish..if you love films avoid at all costs.

Brainless T&A fest
cgearheart18 April 2019
Unless it's softcore porn, excessive nudity of beautiful young women for no reason really doesn't have any business being in a movie categorized as horror. The difference with movies like Friday the 13th or Halloween is that the sex and nudity is symbolic to breaking sexual abstinence, the killer is the punishment for that. This movie was just replete with shameless nudity in a non-porn genre to the point that it almost could be classified as porn. On top of that, the movie looks cheap, the gore effects are terrible, and the acting is god awful. It's as if the director just rounded up the most attractive women who were willing to get naked for him on camera. What a hunk of crap.

LAME, BORING, BAD IDEA
nogodnomasters8 October 2018
Warning: Spoilers
After Lizzie (Jenny Allford) kills her parents the film moves to the present. A group of sorority sisters are grounded and opt to have a slumber party playing truth or dare. Lesley Borden (Veronica Ricci) is a direct descendent of Lizzie, so the dare is to hold a seance to contact the spirit of Lizzie. As this "lame, boring and bad idea" takes effect, the body count rises.

This is a low budget production. The blood squirts are CG generated. While the parents are getting chopped to pieces, Lizzie has no blood on her. Then suddenly she is covered in blood, including her back which never faced the splatter. The film is littered with this type of thing. The script is fairly bad as was the acting.

4 stars for the nudity

Parental Guide F-bomb. Girl/Girl action. Nudity (Jenny Allford, Veronica Ricci-FF, Mindy Robinson)

Good nudie film with decent acting and horror
davidandrewfugett10 March 2014
This is a good nudity film with some live tits and ass. The girls look good, and the soft core scenes are nice. The acting is decent, what you would expect from a low budget soft core movie. The suspense is good, I was surprised quite a few times. The Lizzie Borden relative part of the plot is new, and added an interesting twist to the movie. Also, the half insane sister was cryptic and cute. There was a bit of gore, but nothing too stomach turning. All in all this was a nice film with good looking naked girls having fun with a bit of supernatural horror and suspense added in to make it an interesting plot. Not grade A block buster, but a fun movie to watch for some laughs, scares, and hot chick watching.

Watch Only If you're a T&A Fan and NOTHING else
KimbleLinda26 February 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Seriously, I watch anything that is labeled a movie.

I watch movies that are already Labeled Dud or Worse.

My favorites are Horror, Science Fiction, Melodrama, Action and more.

With those Disclaimers.....all I will say is that I couldn't finish the movie as it was driving me crazy looking for anything that might have lead to Lizzie Borden having a major part in this. Sorry Horror Fans! I noted that there might be some spoilers in this review....can't add spoilers to a really bad movie.

As noted in the summary line only the dudes (or possibly dudesses) will enjoy the somewhat delightful T&A spectacle.

Trying to say something good about the movie.....um? Bye

No more words are needed. I've added this sentence as my review was too short.

Mindless low budget horror slasher
Floated227 March 2024
Similar to 2011 film Bloody Mary, also starring Veronica Ricci. This is a lower budget homemade type horror slasher not to be taken too serious considering it's low cheap looking special effects and subpar acting. There is slightly more depth to like about this film compared to Bloody Mary. Featuring a sorority group of women it was expected their to be a showcase of women showing skin. Skin mostly shown from Veronica Ricci and briefly from Mindy Robinson in a brief role (which was disappointing considering her character. She should have lasted longer).

Overall this is simply a non memorable cheap slasher with some urban tale revalating.

Don't know what everybody else expected
LBarlane242 June 2020
Lizzie Bordon's revenge is a B-slasher-movie that stars Veronica Ricci, Marlene Mc'Cohen, and Jenny Allford as the real-life titular character. It revolves around a group of sorority women. One of which, Leslie, just so happens to be the descendant of the Borden family. As such, the group, as an intentional joke, summon the spirit of Miss Borden. But all hell soon breaks loose as each of the young women are brutally murdered one by one.

Let me start off by saying that I am quite appalled by all the negative reviews the IMDB page is littered with; not only that, there is not one other positive review besides mine. That being said, I may very well be the only person on the page who legitimately finds this low-budget movie entertaining. Sure, it does contain some graphic nudity, but I should also mention that it does have an actual plot, and the acting itself is not half-bad.

Now the direction does leave much to be desired. But again, this is a low-budget slasher, so what do you expect? I really can't help but wonder if the makers of this running over all the audiences dogs is the reason for all the low ratings. Oh well, ignorance is bliss.

Breaking down the reason for 7 stars..

2 stars for Veronica Ricci's absolute hatred of clothing..

1 Star for Krystal Ellsworth's crazy sister portrayal... (and upskirt)

1 star Ginny You's Drunk performance.. method acting if I have ever seen it..

And last but not least 1 star for Bobby. Why is it Bobby's are always great characters... This guy had it all.. heroism, character development , one liners, one handed lock-picking, camera skills (more upskirting) ...
