It was a quite interesting short film. I liked how the story developed because it kept me on the edge of my sit all the time. Also the production quality values were quite impressive and even kept me more glued to the screen. Very eerie intro with the initial setting and music choice; narrator's tone of voice causes so much suspense. The victim and dispatcher's dialogue feels so real, because scenarios like this you don't know what's going to happen next. You don't know if you're going to make it out which causes so much anxiety for all parties involved. There was so much intensity and realness in this film, also love the awareness you're trying to bring about kidnapping.

I'm so glad I came across this short story on Youtube. The Vanishing of Sidney Gomez is such a heart-breaking, emotionally enthrawling, peculiar, and stunning story. The story's got it all: suspense, great visuals, great voice acting, and it's such a touching story that I almost cried near the end. The story is told beautiful, much kudos to the voice over actor. The visuals really corroborate the horror and the madness in our society with the kidnapping of minors and the destruction of families devestated by the crime. The Vanishing of Sidney Gomez is an all-around amazing film, the film as a whole has affected me mentally, I'm more aware of the seriousness and evil of kidnapping. 10/10.

I had goosebumps from the moment the voice started. This kidnapping story sucked me in as soon as it came on and I was pleading throughout the whole film that she was okay. Sidney tugged at my heart strings and I honestly felt like I was there with her and she had me almost in tears. I want this to be an full length movie and the fact that they never found Sidney in the entire short film they never found her breaks my heart. Based on a true events, and that we have so many missing kids/teens/people, it's an eye opening film and my heart breaks for the family of Sidney Gomez. Please, please please, make this a full length movie!!

I had never seen anything like this, I even have goosebumps!!! Hahaha, I loved it too much, I have no words to describe how much it surprised me , the dubbing voice conveys all the emotions throughout the story , really incredible, everything is fine connected, the music , and the atmosphere are key , I really cried with this, and that's why I'm so impressed , I never cry with these things!!!! It is the first time that a story captivates me like this. It is interesting to see how behind this good story there is a great effort from everyone , and I think that is what makes something go so well.

I really liked the film The Vanishing of Sidney. The Vanishing of Sidney Gomez is such a heartbreaking, emotional, strange and stunning story. The story has got it all: suspense, great visuals, great voice acting and it's such a heartwarming story that I almost cried by the end. The story is beautifully told, much praise for the voice over actor.amazing production quality! Terrifying and suspenseful to watch and sad to know it was inspired by a true story, but well put together .One of the highest quality big budget looking short films I've seen on YouTube. A sensational plot the entire movie keeps you on a thread being able to connect perfectly with the victim and the 911 operator plays a crucial role I loved it I love the suspense.

I have watched this film more than ten times and each time it get better. I liked how the story developed because it kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. The cinematography is brilliant and the overall direction of the film including the camera angles and shorts were impeccable. Especially love the fade out from the aerial shot, makes for great cinematics. The sound track and visuals creep you out right from the start! The message of the film was also brilliantly conveyed. I really loved this beautiful film.
This is a great story and one that should be shared.

The Vanishing of Sidney Gomez is a great movie I really love the heartbreaking, emotional, strange and surprising story. The story has it all: suspense, a great plot, great visual effects, great voice acting and it is such a touching story that I almost cried at the end. What to say about something so short, but so intense? Well, I am in awe, as I felt extremely involved in this short film, as every moment was tense and full of anticipation as to what will happen next. It's been a while since I felt so apprehensive watching something, it's fantastic to be so involved in the scenes inside a screen. I congratulate those involved in this production for the quality of the plot, the images, in short, everything! A visibly impeccable job, it is notable that the producers made an effort to bring something that impresses the viewer. Really very good, I recommend it to everyone who likes to feel involved in what they watch!!

I like the sound effects in this short film, it's so horrible that tens of thousands of people disappear and never come back. We are living in a hazardous world and I just hope that no one from my loved ones won't experience such things! The movie also did a fantastic job of communicating its message. The images effectively illustrate the anguish and insanity that exist in our society as a result of the kidnapping of youngsters and the devastation that the crime causes to families. This movie has a lot of emotion and reality, and I appreciate the kidnapping awareness you're attempting to spread, it was fantastic.

I almost cried the end. Also the production quality values were quite impressive and even kept me more glued to the screen. Very eerie intro with the initial setting and music choice. I think that is the great direction. Because the suspense and thrill fill every moment of the movie. In interval I am no idea about the climex. In between the movie the story goes to slow but suspense cover the all moments of the movie. I never watch this type of movie. The concept is very clear. I think it could be a better story. Don't stretch unnecessary the story line. Batwara it is a nice movie and I am very glad to see this.

I like such stories, a great story and even though only the voice is heard, it is very interesting. Especially since it is based on a true story. The story cannot be boring, if it is based on a true event. Somehow you sympathize with those victims and immerse yourself more in the film . I don't like short films too much and I haven't seen them yet, but I stumbled upon this one by chance and it's great.

I loved the movie so much. Its so heart touching and fantastic. The story direction was so awesome. Everything is great about the movie. I love to watch again and again. I am so excited while watching the movie. Lots of suspense and thrilled moments. Such a wonderful story that i have seen in a recent times. The thought of getting this idea should be appreciated. The kidnap was so intense and i was like whats gonna happen whats gonna happen all the time while watching. I love it so much. Theres anxiety, intensity, suspense, interesing. The voices are exactly suited. Everyone should watch the movie.

I'm very happy I found this quick story on YouTube. The Vanishing of Sidney Gomez is such a heartbreaking, gripping, strange, and amazing tale. The story has it all: tension, stunning images, excellent voice acting, and a final act that is so heartwarming that I nearly cried. A big thank you to the voice actor for such a great telling of the narrative. With the kidnapping of youngsters and the disintegration of families devastated by the crime, the images definitely support the tragedy and craziness in our society. The Vanishing of Sidney Gomez is an all-around fantastic movie; it has had a psychological impact on me, making me more conscious of the gravity and cruelty of kidnapping. 10/10.

To say that this movie is both riveting and frightening is an understatement. This movie is so intense I felt my heart was being torn to shreds. The scared pleading from Sidney entombed in the trunk of the car while she is on the cellphone with the police dispatcher.is agonizing. The dispatcher knows she is being driven around likely to her demise. The professionalism and calm from the dispatcher sets in stark contrast to Sidney's distress. I feel both that I was in the car trunk with Sidney and also at the dispatchers desk. Police sirens abound. The movie ends with the report of Sidney missing after her cellphone dies. I cannot think of a worse situation than to have a child kidnapped.

Great sound, great photography and a beautiful story about kidnapping minors In our society where there are as many areas as the movie story.
In terms of photography, I find that the method of photography is very wonderful, and the music makes you feel that you are inside the movie.
This is a very interesting short film. I love the way the story unfolded because it kept me on my toes. The production quality score was also decent, allowing me to focus more on the screen. The initial setting and music selection are terribly introductory; the narrator's tone creates so much suspense. The conversation between the victim and the dispatcher feels so real because in this case you don't know what's going to happen next. You don't know if you're going to succeed, which creates a lot of anxiety for all involved. There's a lot of intensity and authenticity to this movie, and I also love the awareness that you're trying to pull off a kidnapping.
