Development for Stoick
Alex_Hodgkinson22 July 2014
Best episode yet. Stoick's development in this one is huge. He's beginning to fully trust dragons, even getting his own and taming it. It's a different dragon to in the second film, but I still love this. It's a huge step for the relationship between Vikings and dragons in Berks. The plot development is huge.

The humour is very good too, with Stoick being stubborn and refusing to listen to Hiccup and Toothless struggling with Stoick's weight. It made me smile more than once, which is new due to the humour in the show being directed toward children. And Stoick's dragon is a great addition, sure to please you dragon lovers out there.

Is it a perfect episode? No, of course not, but it's perfect for the show. As described in my summary on my profile page, I rate episodes on how good it is for that specific show, and this episode is nigh perfect for this show. I've debated on whether a nine or a ten is in order, but in the end gave it a a nine, closing in on a ten.
