Juliet continues her tour for good publicity posing with animal. Rayna has gotten a producer and her song is fine for the album. Teddy is behind in points and must be with people he does not want to. Avery's band is getting someone to see the band that could help them on tour. Rayna and her manager talk about guest artists to be on the new album. The photo of Juliet and the quarterback are trending meaning she has to go on a date with him for some more publicity. Avery performs with his band while a lot of signer's watch them do their music. Avery goes with Scarlett to see the man to sign him. After he leaves another manager is the first to offer Avery a deal. Rayne and her Manager go to see the Grammy winner at his studio. He says that she is not his type of music and just closes the door in her face calling in mom's music. Scarlett sends Avery to see how Deacon is doing and asks Deacon to help him get a gig. The next day Rayna goes to see the rocker to try get him to be a producer. He makes her talk on the porch to try and convince him. She brings up her CD for him to listen to and he invites her inside. Teddy's councilman is stopped by the police and made to get out of the car. Teddy takes over the speech talking about the cleaning campaign. Juliet decides to change the date by taking the football player somewhere else. The councilman is put under arrest when some drugs are found in his car. Juliete talks to the football player about all the things he cannot do. He starts to play some of her music on guitar and singing with her. Rayna talks to rocker why she needs him on her new record. Deacon meets with the manager to tell her to stay away from Avery. Avery and the band did not get the gig even though Deacon tried to help. Juliet brings her new date to a cool club to let him get loose. Avery meets with the manager and she wants to sign the band again. Avery agrees with her meeting time. While on their way out of the club the football player pushes over a paparazzi. When Rayna hears about the council man she thinks it was Deacon who supplied the drugs. Juliet also could have killed the football players career. Rayna learns about what she did when she was drunk. She sang one of her songs with a drink in her hand. Scarlett runs to Deacons where he tells her about what Marilyn does with the people she sign's. Avery and Marilyn start to kiss but Avery cannot go through with it. Deacon then has to apologize to Coal. Scarlett gets mad at Avery for going over to Marilyn's house. Juliet buys the picture of the football player while the photographer gives the pictures to Coal. The football player asks Juliet out and she goes with him. Marshall still does not want to work with the rocker but she still does. Scarlett has moved out and is now living with Deacon. Coal talks to his wife and she tells him to leak the photos of Teddy cheating on Rayna. Some of the plots still do not work but Connie and Hayden are keeping me interested because the characters are great to watch.
