Back to Earth

This episode is about a series of unfortunate events that make Howard's return from space less than stellar (excuse the pun). Bernie is the only one to meet him. He gets upstaged by Howie Mandell. The rest of the gang is going about their respective businesses. Penny and Amy are wiping out Leonard and Sheldon at every game they can come up with. The Pictionary bit is the best. When Howard goes to see his mother there is quite a surprise.

Howard returns to Earth not feeling like such a hero on "The Re-Entry Minimization" ep of "The Big Bang Theory"
tavm28 November 2012
Warning: Spoilers
In this ep of "The Big Bang Theory": Howard comes back with Bernadette waiting for him at the airport...and no one else though he first thought a lot of people were giving him a hero's welcome when they called his name before finding out it's Howie Mandel (yes, it's actually him!) they were calling to. Bern wanted him all to herself but has a cold and falls asleep when they try making love...so Howard goes to his mother's house...but she's sleeping with the dentist (Ken Lerner, who I fondly remember from the early eps of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" as the high school principal). Now he goes to Raj's apartment...only to find Stuart living there now and being his best bud. So then he goes to Leonard and Sheldon's...where they, along with Penny and Amy, are stuffing their heads in a pie with no time for him. I'll stop there and just say this was another very funny ep of "The Big Bang Theory" and a fine showcase for the returning Wolowitz. Can't wait for the next ep now...

As usual, Sheldon does not disappoint. He takes a pictionary game to a whole other level. Bernadette and Wolowitz are the best pairing too. Wolowitz has an unexpected surprise after coming from space.

This 3 star rating for this episode is due to the character of Stuart Bloom.

The character of Stuart Bloom is a fake & fictional character that TRULY gets under my skin. It's baffling how I can hate some 1 so much that doesn't exist. In this episode he's mooching & abusing Raj's hospitality making Raj to feel sorry for him. Letting Raj buy expensive footwear. & trying to replace Howard, Raj's best friend.

I have decided to write a review each episode I just CAN'T STAND bcuz of of Kevin Sussman's character, "Stuart." I really really can't watch how he mooch's off of every single main character, the things he says truly annoys me. Some feel "sorry" for his character, but me no way. I just don't understand why the writers wrote his character this way. Throughout the series he claims to be so broke, but he still can afford to keep the comic book store open, & can afford hospital bills, pills, & therapy... Instead of abusing his customers hospitality, sell the store & get a job.. Stuart's character isn't funny at all. I just really can't stand him so much I fast forward the scenes he's mooching & just plain talking at all...

This isn't a good episode.

Yes, the Pictionary scene is very funny indeed, but that's just one scene out of a whole episode.

The rest I'm afraid to say isn't very good. We've seen a 'Sheldon gets into a contest' episode not so long ago in series five, so trying to repeat the trick (and that wasn't a very good episode either!) so soon after doesn't really work.

I know that the show was producing twenty-four episodes a year and that they can't all be winners, but other than that scene the quality felt lower here.

There was a 'Howard returning from space' storyline, but it was so weak it doesn't really prove worth mentioning.
