Glee Britney 2.0

Warning: Spoilers
When the Britney episode aired last time I never thought they would do a second one, but the good thing is Britney is front and centre. Our first song of the episode is "Hold it Against Me" sung by Britney herself. We start with Britney's grades coming back to haunt her as she gets kicked off the cheerios. Back to New York and Cassandra is still being mean to Rachel. Voice-over continues and Heather nails it. 2.0 starts and we have Blaine/Artie duo of a mash-up of "Boys/Boyfriend" which is just a bad song for the two to sing as I just hate Artie so much and hate how they make his most annoying qualities come into the forefront. Back to NY and it's the best couple of the show back together. We find out some back story about Cassandra and why she is crazy which is just great as it gives Hudson more to do. Back to high school and we get "Womanizer" from Unique which is another great musical number for him in the whole catalogue he has done so far on the show. Another musical number and it's a slowed down version of "3" sung by more Tina, Sam and new cast member, but before the episode can be finished Britney has a mental breakdown like her idol had. New maybe couple and they gotta sing a Britney tune together. They sing "U Drive Me Crazy" and it's sweet and joyful. Britney intervention and now we kinky. Back to NY and Rachel sings "Oops!.... I Did it Again" and that was one over sexual song sung Rachel with Miss July watching. After the routine Rachel is kicked out for making run of Cassandra. Then back to school where Noah meets his half-brother. Now for the complete transformation into Britney with her singing "Gimme, Gimme" the VMA performance and it's just funny and shows Glee can make fun of people. Britney quits the group. Rachel is back and actually Britney is not out of anything. Rachel is missing Finn but her new york boyfriend comes long who she would go much better together. Glee club has a new member but Marley is upset he is dating Quinn 2.0 so she sings "Everytime" as Rachel 2.0 to Finn/Puck 2.0. The episode was good with Heather stealing the show and some more impressive work from Kate Hudson. The new york has become my favourite and will continue until it becomes annoying I guess. Kurt and Rachel back together is promising as the two just have great chemistry. Much improved over episode one and cannot wait to see SJP next week.

EPIOSDE GRADE: B+ (MVP: Heather Morris)

Well, there surely was no glee when watching this episode.

Warning: Spoilers
OK, there MAY be spoilers in this. MAY BE SPOILERS!!!!

MAY BE SPOILERS!!!!MAY BE SPOILERS!!!!MAY BE SPOILERS!!!! ---- I really like Glee. My mom and I watch it. So we started watching this episode and after about 15 minutes, I almost could not stand it. They had so many different things going on. Back and forth, back and forth. OK, I will break down the things that bugged me.

First, why are we seeing the characters that are no longer going to that school? Are they going to come back into the Glee club so how? If not, keep them out. Speaking of people no longer in the Glee club, it seems Rachel's character now had breasts. OK, that's either because they thing she should look more like a mature woman, or it just happened, but it's odd.

Then, how could the two characters afford the placer they are staying? I am sure they said how during the episode, but I was just trying not to turn it off, so I must have missed it.

OK, so the guy joined I think the Army. Rachel's character is SO into him. All she does is think about him. Then, at the end she is painting over his name. Is that all it takes? Not being able to talk to someone and you say forget them? That was kind of dumb.

Now for something that really bothered me. Brittney is going through a mental break down and they decide to cure it by singing Brittney Spears songs to her? Really? They make the Brittney character far to stupid for me to care about or want to see ANYTHING with her in it. Just end her character already. That or make her act like a normal human being.

Oh, the singing. There was far to much of it. Now I am aware that Glee is a singing show, but it has been a while since there was so much of it. It just never felt like the right tome for them to sing. That got really annoying.

New characters. OK, it's cool that there are new characters in the show. Some left, so you have to fill the spots. But, why did they just put them in as if they had been there since the first episode? Come on, make them work for it.

I think the first episode of the last season felt the same way. They need to have one basic point of the episodes. Stop showing the characters that are no longer in the Glee club, or let them come back for some reason. Don't just drop them in at random. If your going to have them sing, make it be about or for something. Any moron can walk around singing. I do it all the time. Finally, if they are going to add new characters, don't just think of a 10 minute thing that adds them to the group. Make a good back story. I hope the rest of the season gets better. I really liked this show since the pilot episode.
