On Wednesday, Jan. 25, Karol G revealed in an Instagram post the name of her upcoming album. "Finally, finally," she captioned a short clip in Spanish. "Today I announce a project that I've dedicated so much love and time to. I just know that for me and for everyone else, 'Mañana Será Bonito' (Tomorrow Will Be Pretty)."
In the video, Karol is seen sitting in a red car in Medellín, Colombia, eating an empanada, when all of a sudden, a small note appears on her windshield that reads in Spanish: "If you're sad, call me." She gets out of the car and dials the number on a payphone, and a young boy answers from what appears to be a telecommunications center run by kids. In an effort to cheer her up, he advises her to write a letter to Santa Claus, perform at a show,...

With World’s Edge returning once again as the primary map – Kings Canyon will return at some point in the future – for Apex Legends Season 4, you might think that the best landing spots for loot remain the same as Season 3. Thanks to a number of layout changes, new areas and tweaked item spawns though, that’s almost certainly not the case. It’s still early days, however, so the agreed-upon best places to score rare items aren’t yet down to a science, but several early frontrunners for hot spot status are already beginning to emerge.
As before, rare loot has a chance of spawning randomly at any major location on the map, with certain locations – such as locked armories requiring special Vault Keys – giving the best chance at scoring top-tier gear. Unless you’re lucky enough to encounter a key-carrying Drone at the beginning of every match, the sought-after...

Not only are the Legends dealing with a different Encore every episode, but the series also seems to be exploring different film themes, as well.
The Legends traveled back in time to stop a serial killer on DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 3 so, of course, the theme was horror. And it was played out just enough to be quite humorous and entertaining without being tacky and cringeworthy.
There were hilarious one-liners, surprising twists, and heartfelt character moments that reminded us why DC's Legends of Tomorrow is one of the best superheroes shows currently on television.
The Encore was the Prom Night Slasher, who everyone believed to be Freddy Meyer, a student at Central City High School.
But there was something off about him when part of the team traveled back to 1989, as he did not seem to be the ruthless killer he was made out to be in...

“It was my Star Is Born moment,” Legends of Tomorrow‘s Jes Macallan says of her very memorable and hilarious musical turn in last Tuesday’s episode.
First, viewers were treated to a glamorous scene of what Ava thought she sounded like singing Bell Biv DeVoe’s “Poison.” That fantasy was followed by the reality of Ava’s drunken performance in front of fleeing club-goers. But for Macallan, the entire experience was “like my heaven. I was like, ‘This is where I belong!'” the actress recalls with a laugh, gesturing grandly. “I am not a triple threat; I’m a double threat.

We spoke with #AvaLance about the slasher-themed episode of Legends of Tomorrow and what it means for the pair.
This article contains Legends of Tomorrow spoilers.
The latest episode of Legends of Tomorrow was a fun-filled homage to slasher movies, teen romance comedies, and the shoulder-padded glory of the '80s as the team headed back to catch a new Encore who just so happens to be a supernaturally-powered spree killer.
As dark as that sounds, this is Legends of Tomorrow so it was also completely ridiculous as Ava revealed a passion for true crime and a secret podcasting career, and Sara helped her fulfil her lifelong dream of being a final girl. We recently chatted with the pair alongside EPs Keto Shimizu and Grainne Godfree to talk about the '80s love letter and what it means for Sara and Ava.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 3
“Slay Anything” proves fairly conclusively that Legends is my favorite show on television. It proves it not by any one element that propels it to greatness, but because so much of the episode was thoroughly mediocre to bad. And yet, even with an episode that wasn’t very good, there’s still so much in it that is rewarding and earned and earnest that I would rather watch this episode again than almost anything else on television. That’s a true testament to how good it is.
“Slay Anything” is Legends of Tomorrow’s slasher movie episode. It starts out with Freddy Myers (we’ll come back to this) getting the chair at Iron Heights, for being a serial killer.

Apex Legends Season 4 went live for all players earlier this week, bringing with it a host of new gameplay features. Chief among those, of course, is new Legend Revenant. Fueled by revenge, the synthetic assassin introduces a brand new way to play the battle royale, promoting stealth and subterfuge above all-out open warfare. Accompanied by a punchy new weapon, the Sentinel bolt-action sniper rifle, and several major changes to the geography of World’s Edge, Assimilation is shaping up to be a surefire winner among the community.
That is, of course, assuming folks are even able to survive the perilous sky-dive onto solid ground that precedes the beginning of every match. As it turns out, one of the map’s new features – a gigantic Planet Harvester deployed by Hammond Robotics – has started killing players in unexpected (and almost certainly unintended) ways. Respawn, it seems, was a little overzealous when implementing...

Apex Legends Season 4 may be little more than 24 hours old, but it looks as if Respawn already has a roadmap of content for the immediate future locked in and ready to go. Well almost, at least. Chances are, the developer will give current and returning players alike a solid few weeks to digest everything Assimilation has to offer, especially new Legend Revenant, who’s shaping up to be a complex and technical character indeed.
Hungry for revenge, the synthetic assassin is all about stealth and subterfuge, requiring a strategic mind to make the most of his support abilities, not least his Death Totem ultimate skill – an incredibly helpful tool that allows him to save teammates from certain death. Besides that, Season 3 map World’s Edge has undergone a number of environmental overhauls which you can read all about here or, if you’d rather, learn more about the ammo economy...

The arrival of each new season in Apex Legends always provides plenty of reason to celebrate.
For players of the battle royale, every tri-monthly update of its kind is tantamount to an in-game Christmas, with Respawn itself eagerly playing the part of Saint Nick – dishing out gifts and other goodies to the entire fanbase. New Legends, weapons and maps are all par for the course with each refresh, of course, though they’re far from the only changes worthy of note. As with its predecessors, Assimilation also brings with it a raft of meta adjustments and balance tweaks, all of which are intended to once again make each match more wildly unpredictable and exciting than the last.
With Season 4 in particular, however, the developer has decided to make a fundamental change to Apex Legends‘ ammo economy which, if all goes according to plan, should result in a much wider variety of viable loadouts.

Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 2
Under normal circumstances, “Miss Me, Kiss Me, Love Me” would be everything I want out of an episode of Legends of Tomorrow. It moves the characters around and gives them new partners to play off of, has a clever story that’s equal parts genre commentary and season long meta-narrative, revels in its own continuity without wallowing in it, and has the cast generally having a great time. In fact, the only thing I can find wrong with it is that it immediately follows “Meet the Legends,” the best episode in the show’s entire run, so it suffers a tiny bit by comparison. Unfair? Gangsters, magical guns from hell, and blackmail. What could go wrong?
DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 2 really leaned into 1940's Hollywood stereotypes, and it could not have been greater. The accents, costumes, music, and lingo added up to a really fun hour of television.
The Encore of the Week was Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, a typical gangster who has returned from hell. However, it was his girlfriend, Jeanie, that proved to be the more interesting of the two.
While Bugsy's motives were straightforward, Jeanie had us guessing until the very end. She was complicated, fascinating, and everything that a guest character should be.
Bugsy, on the other hand, was just about the same as Rasputin from DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 1, if you look at the bigger picture. They both did evil things for the sake of being evil and obtaining power, which is the standard motive for villains.

Revenant is far and away the headline act of Apex Legends Season 4: Assimilation, and in anticipation of tomorrow’s big release, the team at Respawn has rolled out some brand new footage of the deadly Legend in action.

Revenant has the ability to turn himself and his teammates into smoke, though how exactly this will play out remains to be seen at this early stage. Last week, developer Respawn Entertainment revealed via a special livestream that Forge would be next in line to join the battle royale’s existing cast. Viewers tuning in were even treated to a first look at the self-assured warrior and close-quarters brawler but now… Well, we’re not sure what to believe anymore. Just moments ago, an animated short – titled Up Close and Personal with Lisa Stone – depicts Forge giving a one-to-one interview with Stone discussing his recent selection for the Apex Games.
Towards the trailer’s end, however, what appears to be a technical fault swallows the set in darkness and cuts away from Forge mid-dialogue. Within moments of cutting back to the newcomer, a shadowy figure seen creeping up behind...

Respawn Entertainment has finally pulled back the curtain on Apex Legends Season 4.
As part of a special livestream last week, the developer revealed several new features for the battle royale’s next major content update, including brand new Legend Forge. The musclebound warrior, who data miners leaked just days prior to his official unveiling, is scheduled to land next week, February 4th, though fans now think that the newcomer might not be the only hero coming in Season 4.
Revenant, the mysterious robot who hosted last year’s Fight or Fright Halloween event in a shadowy rendition of Kings Canyon, has long been rumored to join Apex‘s roster. Prior to Forge’s official announcement, in fact, many had believed the former to be a shoo-in for Meltdown’s successor and, believe it or not, that might still be the case. Arrow‘s series finale will follow up the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover’s glimpse of Oa, home of the Green Lantern Corps, by dropping final hints about John Diggle’s speculated connection to the intergalactic law enforcement organization.
For years, the Arrowverse has dropped breadcrumbs pointing to Dig (played by original cast member David Ramsey) becoming a Gl. During “Elseworlds,” for example, the Flash of Earth-90 asked John why he wasn’t wearing his “ring.” And in the Season 7 Arrow episode “Spartan,” it was revealed that John’s stepfather is named General Roy Stewart. Apex Legends season 4 will introduce some exciting changes. Here's what we know...
Apex Legends Season 4 is on the way, and it's bringing at least one new playable Legend with it as well as a host of alterations and additions.
Notably, this season will change Apex Legends' ranked mode quite a bit. Basically, the upcoming season of ranked play will be divided into two "splits." The first split will take place on the World’s Edge map while the second will be located in Kings Canyon. Players will earn a ranking for each split and end of season awards will be based on your overall ranking across both splits. You can read more about how this will all work via the Apex Legends website.

Respawn Entertainment has finally pulled back the lid on Apex Legends Season 4.
Over the last week or so, tons of leaks have surfaced which all pointed to Season 3’s successor arriving early next month. And sure enough, the developer has now confirmed that the next season will get underway on February 4th. And not only that, but it’ll also be bringing along a brand new Legend in the form of Forge, who’s been heavily rumored to be the next playable character to be added to the roster.
Described as a brawler and a “Space Mma champion,” he’s also “the first Legend directly sponsored by a corporation within the world’s lore, Hammond Robotics.” And you can get a better look at him below, along with what appears to be a pretty apt description of the hero:

Legends of Tomorrow Season 5 Episode 1
Well that was incredible.
I stopped being defensive about how much I love Legends of Tomorrow sometime towards the end of the second season. A little before the show stopped being defensive about how much fun it was, now that I think about it. And once that happened, it settled into a nice rhythm of having stupid amounts of fun on screen, moving whatever ridiculous plot the season set up along, and getting us into its characters’ heads and making us love them. There would be the occasional turd, but it would always rebound quickly. The show thrived on parallel tracks: gleefully throwing the craziest plot shit it could at us, and digging down deep into intensely lovable misfits.

In its penultimate episode ever, The CW’s Arrow planted a seed for the future on Tuesday with a spinoff pilot that teamed up 2020’s Laurel and Dinah with 2040’s Mia. If Green Arrow and the Canaries goes to series, would you tune in?
First things first: If you came away from this planted spinoff pilot a bit (or even a lot) confused, that is perfectly understandable, seeing as it actually takes place after the events of next week’s series finale. I repeat, the spinoff takes place after the events of next week’s series finale, which includes Oliver Queen’s funeral.

Brandon Routh talks Ray Palmer's evolution from Arrow to Legends of Tomorrow season 5 and his imminent departure from the show.
Brandon Routh has been a staple of the Arrowverse since 2015, when he was introduced as Ray Palmer during Arrow’s third season. It wasn’t long before Ray suited up as the Atom, and soon became a central figure in the wildest Arrow spinoff of them all, Legends of Tomorrow. Five years later, Routh’s portrayal has evolved considerably from the more traditionally heroic character who first appeared on Arrow into a nerdier, more enthusiastic (but no less heroic or competent) teammate who, in the spirit of the show, leans into quirkier and more comedic elements that have helped make Ray Palmer into such an essential part of the Legends of Tomorrow team.

Ready yourselves, Apex Legends fans, for a raft of Season 4 teasers are inbound. As always, data miners have been hard at work digging into the battle royale’s files and have returned with a bounty of tantalizing details.
Chief among the discoveries this time around are references to what appear to be several bite-sized in-game events, including start times, duration and even where they’ll take place. In a folder labelled “Non-season events (you can delete these once the event is done!”, references to a ‘Holiday Collection Event’ as well as a ‘January Gamemode Buffet’ can be seen. These undoubtedly pertain to Mirage’s Christmas-themed Holo-Day Bash and the ongoing Grand Soirée events respectively, the latter of which features seven rotating game modes on a 48-hour basis. Sounds like a buffet to us, that’s for sure.
But anyway, we digress. Pinned directly underneath those two occasions are the leaks you’re here for.

It is finally here.
The conclusion of Crisis on Infinite Earths premiered after a one-month hiatus, and it was even more shocking than its previous installments.
There was action (of course), laughs, tears, endings, and beginnings all on Arrow Season 8 Episode 8 and DC's Legends of Tomorrow Season 4 Episode 17. It was a well-fitting, yet a bit overwhelming, ending full of surprises that were anything but disappointing.
So, not only did we have to watch Oliver die once (and that is not counting the times he has "died" before Crisis), we had to watch him die a second time surrounded by Barry and Sara.
It was a surprising and emotional scene that was reminiscent of the one on Supergirl Season 5 Episode 9. However, it was much more satisfying.
Sara: No Ollie, you did it okay? And that's why you gotta come back with us. So we need you to hang on, okay?

The Crisis on Infinite Earths indeed proved inevitable (as a certain comic book character might put it) when the Anti-Monitor’s anti-matter wave laid waste to the Arrowverse‘s last Earth standing. And yet just before Earth-One got 86’d, Pariah transported the seven Paragons to a hiding place, the Vanishing Point, where they (hopefully) have been plotting a fix for the universe’s eradication.
But for how long have the Paragons been on their own, when Part 4 arrives (Tuesday at 8/7c on The CW)? And what sort of final showdown can we expect, in the special Legends of Tomorrow episode...

Apex Legends fans have been witnessing some strange cosmic activity as of late.
Yesterday, while going about their usual business in World’s Edge, one player noticed something rather bizarre. Posting footage of an otherwise unremarkable match on Reddit, user TTeeckCorba’s clip quickly takes an unexpected turn when what appears to be a meteorite hurtles through the sky overhead and smashes into a building. Naturally, many of those responding on social media have speculated that the event is part of a teaser made by Respawn for Season 4, while others have reported experiencing similar scenarios in the past, passing them off as little more than a visual glitch.
So, which theory is correct?

Chicago – The year 2019 was when everyone, including myself, seemed to struggle to focus. Politics suddenly appeared to be all consuming when we have an administration as George Orwell predicted, trying to convince so many not to believe their own eyes.
“What you are seeing and what you are reading is not happening,” proclaimed the President in July. This eerily echoed Orwell’s warning. “The Party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears … it was their final, most essential command.” Meanwhile the Commander-in-Chief was enthusiastically tweeting out images with his head badly photoshopped onto different bodies.
Last year 98 celebrities posed for my lens, and a fashion accessory – both on and off the red carpet – became quickly apparent. A modest poem about that trend … If you were a fashionable male/One worshipped by the masses/And you posed for my lens last year/You were probably wearing glasses.

Aside from its fresh take on the ever-popular battle royale genre, Apex Legends has made a name for itself in another noteworthy way this year – leaked info.
While plenty of gamers have been coming back to Kings Canyon for some breakneck gunplay, there’s also a dedicated group of PC players who take it upon themselves to comb through the game’s codebase in an effort to uncover hidden information with regards to upcoming weapons, modes and characters. Heck, in the last couple of weeks alone, some crafty fans have found references to a new game mode as well as tweaks being made to body armor.
Now, it looks like a peculiar glitch has hinted at the existence of a long-awaited feature. As reported by Dot Esports, one Apex Legends player ran into an odd error while trying out the Winter Express Christmas event that went live a couple of weeks ago.

Now, it looks like a peculiar glitch has hinted at the existence of a long-awaited feature. As reported by Dot Esports, one Apex Legends player ran into an odd error while trying out the Winter Express Christmas event that went live a couple of weeks ago.

Even for longtime fans of film’s most popular space opera series, keeping tabs on the vast expanse of Star Wars’ extended universe material is oftentimes a dizzying prospect.
It’s likely for that same reason that Disney, upon acquiring Lucasfilm, decided to label those stories told via book, TV and video games as non-canon, rebranding them under the banner of ‘Legends.’ That being the case, the only old material still considered – for obvious reasons – to be part of the canon universe is George Lucas’ original and prequel trilogies. Disney has progressively expanded the franchise into other media as of late, however, and one major tale released just last month is confirmed to be included in the new Expanded Universe.
Respawn Entertainment’s Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order does, in fact, belong to canon, meaning Cal Kestis could feasibly show up not just in any potential sequel, but other media as a result.

Respawn is in dire need of reconsidering its approach to limited-time modes in Apex Legends.
That’s the view of popular streamer Michael ‘Shroud’ Grzeskiek, at least, who, following a timeout from the battle royale, has recently returned to World’s Edge in order to check out Apex‘s ongoing Holo-Day Bash Christmas event. As you’ve likely come to expect having read the headline, however, the former Csgo pro wasn’t impressed with the content accompanying this particular occasion. Within moments of air-dropping into a new match, Shroud reaffirms his own suspicions over quality, stating, “Ok this is a game mode that I’m not going to play after this.”
“This game mode seems questionable,” he continues, adding, “This is going to be a one and done for sure.” For fans who have yet to give Apex‘s latest Ltm a shot, Winter Express sees three teams of players...

“Crisis on Infinite Earths” is currently on a month’s break, but the Arrowverse crossover will return in the new year for its thrilling final two episodes, and we’ve been promised even more surprises to come when it does. The opening three hours aired earlier this December on The CW and lived up to the promise that this would be the biggest event to ever hit the DC TV universe. And somehow they’re set to be topped by its grand finale.
Arrowverse Ep Marc Guggenheim responded to a fan on Twitter yesterday who enquired as to whether shooting had completely wrapped on “Crisis.” The producer confirmed that it had, with episode 4 finalized a couple of weeks ago and episode 5 still having a few days left until it’s ready to go. And Guggenheim also teased that there are “surprises in both.”
