Todd McSweeten & DB Cooper
nannyjo31 May 2020
This is one of my favorite Leverage episodes - How can you not love the "buddy cop 70/80s montage?" On the surface, it is an interesting story about DB Cooper but for me it is the "Agent McSweeten" life story that really makes me care about the episode. Agent McSweeten has been a favorite reoccurring character since season one. Previously, he had always been comic relief in most of these episodes, here we get a deeper understanding of the character.

We learn that Todd McSweeten's FBI father passed on his quest for justice and the ability to see the good in people to his son. In one scene where young Todd has his bike stolen by kids "looking for a lost dog," his father says, "Pretty soon you only see the bad in people - you could be like that too, you wouldn't lose as many bikes." I love Todd's reply, "But I won't find any lost dogs."

"It's not a weakness to see the good in people, all right? It's not a flaw or a bad thing to trust." is the elder McSweeten's life advice.

Not a bad lesson to learn.

Tally-ho.

I really enjoyed this episode. I loved the story line and how the story of DB Cooper was told. I have seen a lot of DB Cooper investigation shows and this was really an excellent story of what possibly could have happen. I love the dynamics between Christian and Aldis on screen, it was a great change up of having Christian and Tim work together on this episode. It was great. The flash backs to the 70's where nicely done. I grew up watching the A-Team and this show is a modern day A- Team or Robin Hood type show. I have heard the cast say in interviews they were Robin Hoodliums. I absolutely love this series and I love the cast and everyone that worked to put this show together. I know it has ended but I highly enjoy watching is every Sunday on @ionTV!

Good Series, Bad Episode...

Warning: Spoilers
I tend to overall like the series, but this is a episode I strongly dislike. Even those, i have read and watch everything on the D. B. Cooper case. I know it is a fictional tv show, but the real case, in the real world is unsolved but the Leverage team solved it like a few days.

I consisdered this episode to be one of the worst, just for plot. Here would be an idea, they canno solved the case. Fictional cases, that is fine, but solving the Dan Cooper/D. B. Cooper case are you seriously? Just becaue some guy's FBI father was unable to solved the case.

It also, totall fictional nonsense that the stewardress lie and married D. B. cooper, who would has been an old man by 2012.
