In the museum in Berlin, Pete had spotted a weapon which reminded him of a Klingon battleaxe. After escaping near death Pete utters the line, "Today was not a good day to die" which is a reference to a Klingon Proverb from Star Trek: The Next Generation (1987). This may be a hat tip to Brent Spiner who appears in this episode and was one of the core cast on TNG.

to be the death of Warehouse 13's first member: Leena -in the previous episode "The Ones We Love."
Given Jinks return, nothing is certain -just Leena death is assumed.
