Please Disregard the Other Review
championbc-99-500512 March 2015
Whoever wrote the other review is actually reviewing Episode 21, not this one, and it makes me doubt his ability to review anything if he can't remember which episode he is reviewing.

All I really want to say is that this episode is definitely worth your time. Being a "season finale," it will have cliff-hangers. There will be several irons in the fire, and fortunately for us who live in 2015, instead of having to wonder and anticipate for several months, we can just move on to the next streamed episode.

Just so you know, a "semi-regular" is killed to open the episode (nobody who gets top billing in the opening sequence, so don't worry), but that sets them on their end. One bad guy gets released from jail over something complicated, there is a vengeful cop-killer on the loose, and lots of our regulars in definite danger.

We get to see Joe White again, and his ever-teasing promise of revealing who "Shelbourne" is. Will he? Sorry, no NCIS in this one. Forget the other review. It has absolutely nothing to do with this episode. In fact, it had little to do with episode 21 either...

would you want these guys protecting your back??? spoilers for ncis:la also

Warning: Spoilers
First Danny caved in to a kidnapper and broke every rule as a cop let alone a member of an elite squad. Now, in this episode we have team members acting like rookies and doing everything their training is supposed to prevent them from doing. Are the writers of this show serious that they expect fans to swallow this type of lazy writing??? The cliffhanger is not from any plot development but from the silly actions of the so called professionals. The governor should disband this team right away. I am surprised that the writing is so sloppy. There are so many great shows that do not insult the intelligence of the viewer but this show and ncis:la appear to be the worst. The tie-in to the show about small pox is a good example. You don't yell "federal agents" before surrounding the criminal and risk a chase in a crowd with vials of live virus. I know what this disease can do since my dad and uncles all had to fight it. The lack of thinking and planning is unbelievable. Yes this is only a show but don't assume that people watching are stupid. Conclusion: Good plot, lousy execution and lousy writing.

What moron did the audio on this
robodudeable29 January 2024
Great story, a strong season ender but here where with absolutely awful audio mixing. The music completely drowns out the SFX and the dialogue. Everything was completely fine until this episode. So what gives? I remember this being a problem on this show but I thought it started much later on than this. What a way to completely ruin what should be a brilliant viewing experience. I hope the idiot got fired. Very dissapointing, I so love this show and what so much to enjoy the big season finale story arches, this too just after McGarret came back. The episodes without him definitely felt the absence.
