Sex & Nudity

  • There's talk about sex, but nothing physical. No nudity worse than a guy with his shirt off.

Violence & Gore

  • Someone gets punched, and has a nail pounded through his hand. A body of a guy (assumed dead) is stabbed a few times (stabbing is not visible). Body sits up and the guy who stabbed him before stabs him in the neck, again the result is shown, not the actual stabbing. Not especially gory. Another character has his eye shot out from behind, the loose eye bouncing around, but the shooting is not shown, only the result.

Profanity

  • One scene is with a cab driver who talks at length about a relative f-ing a girl. The f word is repeated 4-5 times in the same story.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Two characters drink on a park bench, it is assumed to be alcohol

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Someone has a nail pounded into their hand. Another character has his eye shot out from behind. The loose eyeball is shown, but not the shooting. Another character (assumed dead) is stabbed in the chest several times, but the body is obscured so it's only assumed the knife is making contact. After he wakes up suddenly, he is stabbed in the neck. But only the knife in the neck is shown with blood on it, not the actual stabbing. We couldn't figure out why this movie got an R rating. I've seen PG-13 movies that were much much worse.
