I have since been Googling again, and discovered that this is a Lifetime TV show. Being not an American and knowing what I do know from hearsay in various media, I'm not well versed on US channels, but I have encountered many disparaging comments made here on IMDb by reviewers/posters on the now defunct message boards re Lifetime, and loads of the stuff I've been noticing, mentioning, griping about in my previous reviews do make sense if you consider the source. Sounds intriguing, until you settle down for it, little more than morality tales. There IS more to this, it IS good, but it just doesn't have real zing. It generates no real buzz. This episode is even down from the previous. I'm sorry, it's not what I'd have liked to say. Ultimately, five episodes in, this is an idea which might not fall completely flat (I'm wearing kid gloves, as per my usual, see?) but it doesn't, er, rise to the occasion.
Five more episodes for the producers to try, try again. I doubt I will be signing up for Season Two.
